It's pretty simple - just drive 2000km/1250mi without turning off your PS3/quitting GT5.
I've tested that and it worked, I did B-Spec Indy 500 twice and 4h Nurburgring and I got it.
I don't know if this has been said...

You don't know if people have been told to drive a long distance to get a long distance ticket?

Thanks for the advice... but I'm pretty sure it's been covered :D

Or for a really easy way - Just play the game. You'll get the ticket soon enough.
@OP - I'm pretty sure people know how to drive 2000km on the game. Considering the game is based around driving.

You don't have to leave your PS3 on to get that ticket.
The longest time I've played GT5 was while I was doing the 4 hour Tsukuba (Which took me 5 hours). And I've had 2 of those tickets so far.

Isn't mileage from B-Spec not counted towards the mileage needed to earn the Ticket 1000?
(From personal experience, if it was I'd get a ticket every two to three days with the excessive B-Spec grinding I do, and I've only received three of these tickets - that's with playing the game since launch date...)

Since the PSN was down, I drove over 10,000km on the same few tracks and cars, with not a single ticket. I am at 50,000 GT life km, with no more than 3 or 4 tickets, I can swear by that.

I'm sure it's...

Drive 1000km or enter 100 races (by enter, I don't know if it means complete the race or just start it). You only have to reach one of these milestones to receive the ticket, and once you do receive it, the same two milestones are set again - So if you drove 1000km but only entered 80 races and received the ticket, you have to drive 1000km or enter 100 races from then on to receive you second ticket.

B-spec mileage and B-spec races don't count.

How did it take you 5 hours when I did that I only had to do one extra lap because I still had left, but on topic I've got the 1000 ticket about 8 times since I got the game. So it's pretty easy to do and I don't understand why some people still don't get

I don't believe I've seen this ticket yet and I'm up to level 30 a-spec. No endurance races driven yet. I have not completed the FGT in a-spec yet either. That's the last one before I do the endurance races. (I may need to be injured before this will ever happen). If they allow saving game progress at some future update I may begin the endurance a-spec races :D

And if it was a b-spec ticket I would think that being at level 40 b-spec and not turning off the machine for weeks at a time running the bobs daily in endurance races would have earned it.

I'll have to check to see if I have earned this already and not noticed it.

First, make sure you're going to able to earn around $7,350,000 credits before you reach $20Million Credits. Next, set yourself up for the rubberband grind in A-Spec, Like the Wind Race, Indy Race using the x2010. You'll complete around 15 races per hour, earn $1,050,00 per hour and at the end of 7 hours (you'll be sleeping while all this is going on) you will have earned $7,350,000 credits and you'll also have earned at least one 1000 ticket if not 2 tickets. At 2.5miles per lap x 5 laps = 12.5 miles per race x 15 races per hour = 187.5 miles per hour x 7 hours = 1,312.5 miles and 105 races completed. Also, make sure you check your UCD when your done because it would have reloaded a full 30 cars every 5 races which means your UCD would have reloaded a total of 21 times in that 7 hour stretch.

The ticket description says something along the lines:
...You have recieved this ticket for either driving for 2000km or having 100 wins.

You'll get two of them, one for 2000km and one for 100 wins.
Proves my point, 1000 Ticket busted.
👍

You don't have to win the races. You only have to complete them.

100 races or 2000km. FWIW, if you're grinding ''like the wind''... 100 races is exactly 2000km.

I popped well over 40 tickets since PSN went down. PS3 has not been turned off! lol

you can get it a-spec or B-spec. but you cant go to the GT Life screen after you join a series. so if you join exert series you must race 2000km before returning to the GT life screen.

I leave my PS3 on 24/7 I get three 1000 tickets everyday since it does the "Like the Wind" race over 300 times.(you also can get it for doing the same race 100 times) :)

Wrong. I'm sorry but that's a load of rubbish.

All I know is that I have over 13,000 km and I only got two of those tickets. ANd I barely play Bspec. So I want to know where all of my tickets are!?!?:grumpy:

I got one yesterday. I've had about 5 now.
Turned Ps3 on did a couple of races. One in the like the wind and the one in the american champs.
Came all the way to Gt life screen after each race to check UCD.
I got it after the second race so you don't need to stay in a series for either 2000km's or a 100 races. It counts up regardless of whether you come back to the Gt life screen or not.

B-spec km's or races do not count towards the 1000 ticket.
that you cant leave the gt life screen or not turn the ps3 off or anything along that lines is not true

This thread doesn't solve anything and, as smoking cones pointed out, we have one already that could have been used.
