The quickest way to win cash in GT6 is to run the Standard RedBull championship. You can win 2.1M cr if you finish 1st in all races with a 200% bonus. Seasonal / Senna / GTAcademy events are also great to win some cash quick

Those hints to just win the Red Bull events over and over are next to useless for most players. If you were good enough to win Red Bull races easily you probably wouldn't be asking how to make credits. Having said that, there are a number of races which can pay out 100,000 to 300,000 so 10 of those x 20....I'm up to 13,500,00 and just won the AutoBarmy trophy. It'll take a while to get that GTO.

They seem to have done their old tricks of 2 TT and 2 DT events now hopefully races will follow.

The RedBull standards are not so tough as long as you take your time. Even the karts pay well. Race a track you're comfortable with while you get the hang of them and even 3rd place pays well. You will have to complete a series with them to unlock single races though.

Good luck it's a long old trek to get the expensive cars but like most I've enjoyed the journey.

I would play a variety of events that are enjoyable and different like gt3, super gt, endurance. (Who would really want to do a single event over and get bored) and every so often when you want to test a car or free run do it on an event.

The RedBull Jrs. and Standards are not as difficult as they might seem at first. I'm a pretty average driver, and I was able to consistently win the championships long before I was able to gold the S licenses, coffee breaks, Goodwood, etc. Start with the Jrs.; the championship pays about $1.4 million every 20-25 minutes. For the Standards, use Racing Soft and SRF; that pays $2.3 million every 20 minutes. It won't be long before you can win all five races in the championships every time without even trying.

A good idea is races in Red Bull Standard

Apricot Hill is fastest but quite hard
Trial Mountain is a bit longer but easier
Nur GP is very easy if you cut the chicane as long as you don't hit the AI but its the longest except Silverstone
Silverstone is the longest but not the easiest

OR do all 5 in the championship and get 1 mil extre after all of them

I just run Special Route X in Like the Wind, dead easy, don't even have to concentrate and 140k for 4 minutes.

I will make a video of how to do the red bull race at silverstone. It is very easy if you cut the right corners and is the highest paying dollars per hour race. You can cruise in a lap under 1:20 which means 250k every 4 mins. Once you get better you can do it even faster. I'll try to get it posted tonight but I am moving this weekend so we will see.

I prefer to buy cars in the range of 0-250k, tune and have some fun on the more varied tracks they can be used on. the PP limitation that exist in the last two games makes having the higher end cars useless for most events. I missed the days of taking the Minolta into the Clubman Cup to see how many times you can lap the first car when you have run out of things to do. The online play is so limited that you can never find an open event that is a serious race, just "race for fun" or "drift" (embarrassing to drift in a real racing game, cute, but embarrassing)

So you did buy them. You made it sound like you were commenting on something you knew nothing about and I hate that. Don't give up on online racing though man. Use the threads here and search for sports tires only lobbies and you can find some good groups of people. Finding a competitive group really makes this game shine

Always like minded people out there, online is the only reason I play, single player is just for grinding cash for me .

ok so heres the 3 lap silverstone race that your grind for 260k in under 4 minutes. you'll see I finish in 3:50 with loads of mistakes.

A few tips:

1. keep TCS at 5 to help you when coming out of the grass
2. switch to RS tires
3. you can take it easy on the "on track" parts if you aren't good with this car.
4. the last shortcut can be done at full throttle but do it a few times before you try it cause you have to nail it to not let up.

I felt the same way until I discovered the Red Bull races - I don't like doing them very often because to win I need to use race soft tyres and it feels so unrealistic and ridiculous - more like being in a low flying aircraft than a racing car.

If I have been grinding on the Red Bull it takes me quite a while to get used to driving normal cars with a realistic level of grip. I have now got all the 20m cars apart from one (Ford MK4) so thankfully I won't need to do much more of it.

For those who doubt the usefullness of the high value cars, there are races for them online - have a look through the race series on this site. I have a series starting on 15th June for the Ferrari 250 GTO and Ferrari 250 GT plus the cars they raced against - Cobra, Corvette, E Type - if anyone is interested just click on the link in my signature.

Re cutting the corners - I don't think it's necessary - you can win the Red Bull races without any corner cutting. My tips for these races are very similar, but in addition I use automatic transmission and switch on the driving line - I detest the Silverstone track as being an old airfield track it is completely flat, featureless and very boring - driving line plus driver aids should enable people to win in the Red Bull car. The only race I don't always win is the Apricot Hill - I find that very difficult to judge and my car often gets knocked off. To beat boredom I suggest doing the whole championship also that way you get the 1m credit bonus at the end.

In the Nissan Silvia drift seasonal you (1 ) gold the event $250000 with log in bonus ,(2 exit back to main screen. 3 enter again and drive through without really scoring. (4) Exit then enter and do a scoring lap, basically one scoring lap then one non scoring lap, $250000 every second lap.
I don't even enter anything to do with drifting because I suck at it but this was pretty easy after a few learning goes.

I was about to mention this......and it can be done in any of the drift trials, so just pick the one you find is most easy for you, tho I think the Silvia event pays out the most Cr.

Regarding #3: you do have to score a little, but less than bronze, if you score 0 it will not reset the event. [changing to a stock tune/tab with sports tyres for this part will stop you scoring too much and you will get to the end quicker]

Yeah possibly, it has taken 5-6 mins for me each time I have tried it.

Those few 20 mil cars are more of an exclusivity and not some unbeatable machines you need to have "pronto"> a 2D or 2C that cost a "budget" 2-4 mil will beat any of those 20 mil cars.

I'm sorry, you're talking about the redbull races and it's the RS tyres you say make it feel unrealistic

Sound advice throughout though, and how annoying is that first double left-hander at Apricot Hill. Just such a pain on lap 1 with all the traffic.
