How to make outline widebody panels?

Hi, I was wondering how other players make or where they find and outline of a widebody fender for a specific car? I would like to make some widebody panel for other cars for myself, how do I make this outlines?

I would imagine you just get a decent side view of the kit you want -

(not the best angle, this is just an example)

- and then trace with just a stroke around the edges of the kit etc, add whatever unnecessary brake ducts etc, and when you're done you adjust the opacity. Voila. You're done.
