how to switch 2P split screen mode?

16:9 display = vertical split screen

In 2 player mode, do you know how to make the replay show up as one, instead of two seperate split screen replays? I remember in the last GT3 you had to press some button on both controllers and then the replay would switch to just one big screen replay, instead of two small simultaneous replays for each player.
