How to update date/time settings?

Every time I start the game it tells me I need to correct my time/date settings but I can't find an option to do so. I updated the clock in my Playstation settings but it didn't carry over...please help.

just go to your Playstation menu and go to Date and Time settings and update via internet

Weird, I was just about to go do what you said and noticed that it has fixed itself...perhaps the server maintenance has something to do with it.

Ok so for some reason the time has reverted back to the incorrect setting and every time I start the game it says I need to update the time and date settings in some options menu...but I have searched all over (even updated the ps3 time/date manually) but cannot find a solution. Why doesn't it sync with my ps3's date/time?

Anyone know how to correct this?

I have the same issue. I've given up on updating the PS3 settings since the message keeps coming up in GT5.

lol, it's so dumb. It tells you in gt5 to go into the options and change the date/time settings...BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR IT IN GT5!

as been said, go into your PS3's XMB and update the date/time settings via internet. The message hasn't showed up since.

Thats what I did

I did that and it updated to the wrong time, so that is not an option.

Just figured it out...I had my daylight savings time set to "on" (or something) and changed it back to standard, which fixed the XMB time and gt5's time.
