Washed and waxed my car. It was alright. I was in a cleaning mood. Even detailed the interior!

Boring, I spent pretty much the whole day studying for my final exams and sleeping. I can't wait until these damn exams are over, only 1 week 'til summer. It's looking up now though as I've rolled up a joint and turned on some good music.

Mine was boring as well: spent the day doing homework and sitting around the house on my laptop. Did however collaborate on some stupid debate project with a REALLY hot chick, so all was not lost.

How was you day today?

Mine was a normal school day, go to school come home on this and do nothing else 👍

School, on Sunday? Or you must live halfway around the world ;)

I spent 6 hours (believe me, 6 hours) on English and Math homework. Quadratic Functions kills. Plus my headache and the stomach problem I had since yesterday, and you see how my day was. Horrible! Only got to get on GTP few hours ago, and I'm not even finished my Planning homework! :scared:

I hope you're not planning on attending college then

I spent most of the day designing a control system for a hydrocracking reactor. It's about as much fun as it sounds. The things we'll do for a diploma... :boggled:

..........I have no idea what a hydrocracking reactor is. Some kind of a new nuclear reactor? ;)

Btw, what was the convo thread? I came after it was killed so I dont know what it is.

It was like this. Mindless babble with no topic.

It was created to get off-topic posts out of normal, bandwidth-worthy threads.

A new thread was created every month and people slow chatted in it just like MSN or whatever. At least it was in its own forum and didn't fill in valuable Rumble Strip space.

Some people miss it, others say it should never have come in the first place. Opinions on it's demise differ.

:D

You must be in Grade 10... or 11. I get to laugh at you all 'cuz I'm the last of the Grads on the old program 👍.

My day wasn't too bad... Got up sometime after noon (Hey, I deserve to do it on my day off), did ****-all till about 4, started some homework, went to dad's for supper, just finished my homework a few minutes ago.

On a slightly related note, I'm kinda pissed off. I spent about an hour on Friday giving the car a thorough wash job. Saturday, birds crapped all over the hood. Overnight, there was a wind storm (Bits of tree, sticky pods, all sorts of crap all over car). Now, it's worse than before I washed it. Arg, it's just my luck.

Indeed many differences of opinion did (and still do) exist, but they are all largely irrelevant since the owner of the site wanted it closed, and so it was done :sly:

Anyway, I think it's a nice sentiment asking people 'How was your day?' but unfortunately the resulting thread, as we've seen before, ends up as the bastard son of Convo (the Patron Saint of Slow-Chat)... I can heartily recommend MSN for these sorts of enquiries, though... that way you can actually strike up some meaningful conversations without spamming the GTP forums 💡
