How far down will it go? If you say, drive an Escudo 5,000,000,000 miles, will it have like 4 hp left?
Or is there a limit, say, it can only lose... 100 hp, no matter how many miles it has?

Thanks for any feedback,
Jaster

It depends on the car ..but it's not anymore than 20/25 Bhp so you ok there..:)
I have a R390 with an insane amount of miles on it ..When i first got it .It was at 1205Bhp fully modded now it sit's at 1181Bhp it will not drop below that..

I had to go and win myself another fresh R390 for doing free runs in TT's this new car allways has 0 miles on it ..I just save settings and replays not the game when doing TT's..

DAMN. The GT-One road car needs to lose 130 HP to be under 500, you're saying that's not gonna happen? No matter how long I leave it running on the test course?

At what mileage point does the HP loss stop?
My Denso Sard Supra has nearly 1400 miles on it and it's down to 951 HP fully modded, (max is 970 after oil change I believe). I just used it to win a fresh one again at the AL All Japan Champ 8)
Gonna use the one with the miles for any enduros I want to do, and the fresh one to beat championships.

That is correct theres no way the GT-One will lose 130bhp..I don't know exactly what the stop off point is but im guessing it will be around the 580Bhp mark...

As for mileage im not too sure exactly but i think its around 450/500 Miles ..For prize cars and a little longer for cars that need to be run in ..

One of my Poly001s has over 2000km on it, and that's only down at 813BHP (from 829BHP), so yeah, it's not a whole lot.

Welcome to GTP, by the way, Jaster! :)

Did some checking on my Denso Supra, I have 1416.8 miles on it.

With Turbo 4 it's got 951 HP, without it's got 477 HP.

The one I have with no miles has 970 HP with turbo, and 487 without.
So over the course of 1416.8 miles it has lost 10 HP with no turbo, and 19 HP with turbo.

I also looked at GT3Times.com to see if I could find a time posted with less HP than 951, and I found one with 940, and one with 906, but this is inconclusive because I don't know if this is before or after the oil change.

Maybe I'll run it for a while on test course while I go and read a book or something, then see if it's lost any more HP.

Or maybe they were using a Turbo 3?

Ah, you two responded while I was typing up my reply.
Thanks for the more detailed info, I figure the Denso's as low as it'll go then, and the HP that I got from GT3Times is without oilchange.

(The reason I wanted to know was because of the weekly challenge this week, the HP cap is 500 HP with clean oil... figured if I could get the GT-One down to 500 HP I'd have the best handling car :D)

And thank you Sandstorm for the warm welcome! How very kind... I feel all warm and fuzzy inside :O
