it's not sexy. It's a Golf. It's a tub of lard. Its one of the few cars thats actually as heavy as it looks. Dont' care if it has 550bhp - the big power-spike makes driving intricate to say the least. Show me a Mk1 Golf

Have you seen the car in person? I had the pleasure of seeing it in action, and it didnt have a problem at all (got pics too)....very fast car. It was dwarfed by the Dahlback car though. Sounds like your refering to the in game feel, I agree its a moody car, but in real life this car is very impressive.

Get that kind of power out of a Mk1 Golf and you've got my attention.

It may be a quick car, but compared to a Lancer its nowt... and Norris Designs have a 201mph/700bhp Lancer 7. THAT is a sleeper i reckon (if you took all the graphics off).

The Golf maybe nice, but there are better motors out there. And I can't help but yawn when i see a standard Golf Mk3/4/5.

Id hope it has AWD.....The only thing impressive about a 500hp FF street car, is the gross amount of wheel spin. Im all for a decked out MK1's but there is a point where you can have too much power in a front drive car.IMO

Agreed. hence Im not a fan of FF cars - because they become undriveable above 300bhp. I suspect some decent rubber (in real life) would help things no end, but generally if you want that kind of power, have an FR or AWD. Or MR

well, here's what I have to say about it:

The R32 looks pretty sweet in person, and since I own an '04 Jetta, I bought this in-game to give it a spin and ended up winning a few golds w/ it here and there.

I have a video of a Saab with front wheel drive and with 850bhp, and it does nothing but spin, a bit stupid really but good all the same..👍

sure, under the skin its got grunt and whiz-bangery. but on the outside its still just a golf.

I mean like... I am fully an advocate for the phrase "each to thier own" but... a golf? sexy?

a 2cv has more curves...
a jag is definitely more agressive looking...
a honda odessey is er.... advertised as being a sexy van type vehicle....

it started its life as cute. a little box on wheels if you will. a very cute box on wheels... never sexy, but still very cute. now its still a box on wheels but bigger and it has lost its cuteness...
oh never mind.

look dont take offence to my post, its just my opinion.
My ex-gf had a old golf and she loves them all. so maybe I dont have any taste

All I did was adjust the brightness. This car is one of the easiest to make the brakes glow.
