Yes, but it's not something new. I remember reading about Sbarro's hubless wheels several years ago, and he's employed them on a lot of concept cars.

How can you equate something like this to those stupid spinners? Spinners are for cosmetics only. A hubless wheel lowers unsprung weight and could have a performance benefit.

He's using a helicopter rotor for the back wheel, right? Insane chopper.

As for the other bikes. Pretty nice, they got an Akira feel about them.

He can I equate them...simple I don't care for eithers look, but they are both unique.

For rims on a chopper, I like the spokers.

he never used this concept on cars, what he did on a car and i thought was cool. was adding retractable rear weels that deploy and make the rear end of the car go sideways into a parking space

If I had to guess, though, I'd bet that the additional weight of structure required to support that cantilever out there is far greater than what is saved by reducing the mass of the wheel itself.

I do still think they look cool.
