Gracius god. I'm caught up in this storm, and I know Integra TypeR is..

But who else in florida here is being smacked in this face by this damn storm.

Earlier today, It was pouring - so I went to get the dog from the backyard. She was in the garage hide'n out in there by the porsche and when I left the garage it started hailing. I got knicked by hail today... Joy... Then yesterday over on the north west side of town - tornadoes were having fun destory crap. Theres was two of them, but the second one on that side of town didn't complete its formation. There was a video of it at the local news.

But yeah - who else is caught in this hell hole?
 
Where in Florida do you live (more specific than north)? UK news was saying it was hitting in the tampa region. That is quite a way from you right?
 
Eh sucks for you and Integra. We have to deal with earthquakes...

Jacksonville. Tampa is getting nailed right now. It suppose to come up and do a direct hit on Jacksonville.

I rather have a predictable storm than a unpredictable earthquake.

Man If I heard that a storm like a hurricane was coming at our city i'd be scared ****less.

The news here is saying the wind speed should be around 75mph. But the storm is still very capable of making Tornadoes.
Which if it does - thats adds to the bull****.
 
Where you hide anyways if there is a tornado?
 
CNN has a little link at the bottom that talks about safety.

When I went to Florida (Orlando) last year, we were confused when we went to the malls as there are little/no external windows. We soon realised it was because of the storms you face in that area.

Isn't there some local place you can go for just such an occasion?
 
Ah so it's coming from the ocean. which one? anyways 145mph!!!!???
 
It is coming form the Gulf of Mexico and suppossedly crossing over to the Atlantic Via Florida. :ouch:
 
I hope the Universal parks don't get hit because I gotta go there on the 31st. You can get through it Darin and ITR. Just beware of flying cows landing on your roof. ;)

It came from lower cuba, and started going into the Gulf, curved into florida having its out rings hitting near Miami, then the Eye of the storm I think entered around St.Petersburg or Tampa. ( which ever, they are very close. ) and now its making its way up to us. The eye is supposed to either hit us ( Jacksonville. ) or Daytona. Or go in-between which is St.Augustine.
 
Yeah I saw the picture of destruction from charlie on cuba on friday... DESTRUCTION!
 
Oh boy! I'm excited. I love this kind of weather! I wish I could be making all those videos you see on the news. :) It won't be too bad at all when it hits Jacksonville. It should be the bare bones minimum to be called a hurricane when it hits Jacksonville, but like Darin said, theres the threat of tornados untill around 8AM tomorrow morning.
 
Mmm.. I've never been in that large of a thunder storm, I have been through some fairly small earthquakes. It's been sunny for the past few days here. British Columbia rocks. 👍
 
No DV cam :(. I am planning on getting some good pictures though. 👍
 
Fort Myers just lost power to over 1 million people according to teh weather channel.

Don't know. I'll get the out skirts. But still in a high wind part. See, i'm 90 miles away from Daytona Speedway. Exactly 90 miles from the raceway entrance/exit.

But Daytona is getting slammed right now.
 
Yup my TWC right now is showing that hurricane is coming your way and about 9:30 and 10:00 tornadoes will spawn.
