I can't get all golds in the liscense tests on GT3 like I did with GT1! I must really suck that bad, or my racing skills must have degraded that much. Need golds to prove skill...

No way man. I'm like 94.5% complete and I've got bronze from B all the way to S. I think it proves you have skill just by getting bronze on the S licenses.
Ha! You're so mean. You should just let her play whenever she wants. That way she can't be mad when you play all night (: And maybe she'll get better, and you'll actually be able to talk about games together ... or maybe that's just wishful thinking ... but it IS a nice though.

Nah - she's stuck building skyscrapers on Simcity 3000 on the PC (what a great geek couple - I'm either racing GT3 or running over pedestrians on GTA3 on the PS2, and she's on the other side of the room on the PC playing SC3000).
She's becoming addicted - I keep telling her to save herself while she still can (it's too late for me) but I think it's too late.

I do have all the licenses, but mostly only golds and silvers in the B and A licenses. Otherwise I've got nothing but bronze all the way up. Beaten all the licenses, which is what I do first, so I can win a car, then take that car and upgrade it with my starting cash.
In fact, I just did the I-B license tests last night. Easier than I thought. I got 4 golds out of 8. I've finally found my touch for gas and brakes. Once you understand that you don't always press on the gas fully, you'll find the first 2 tests very easy!!

Dont worry I was just as bad at GT3 liscense tests are you are, i had 1 gold 7 silver and 40bronze, now that my driving skills have improved by completeing most of the game 94.8% that i have 41 golds 4 silvers and 3 bronze.
She was muttering something the other night about how boring the buildings looked in SC3000 (and there's some truth in that) and hoping they'd look better in SC4000.
I suggested she could build her own or download some from the net.
She has NO artistic talent but I think the old internet's going to cop a hiding in the coming weeks...
I am happy to even make it thru !! I have bought the PS2 and got the GT3 DVD alongside as bonus. It is the euro edition (where you call the VÝtz a Yaris and such)
I could make it thru IB and rally so far. IA pissed me off... No matter how hard I try I just couldn't make it thru the Tokyo route with the EvoVII !!! I work wonders with my Viper GTR (1110 HP) but with the crummy Evo VII, I fail each and every time...
