@Wardez , you said stick it in the motorsports section so I did. Well I ran into this today in my town centre as part of a promotion. And I couldn't resist a couple laps...

Local town centre has this demo car down for the day. The simulator is a mock up F1 car from approximate 2009 which uses the PC simulation Rfactor as it's base. The featured track is the old Silverstone layout, without the "Wing" section. The simulator is over £70,000 and the other one is resident in the house of Vjay Mallaya, Force India Formula One team boss!

Driving it's quite a challenge. The wheel vibrates as though you're on the road surface and this means you have to grip it quite hard in order to keep it straight. Too much though and the car wanders all across the road. Brakes have to be warmed up and steering has an interesting trait of when you steer full lock, it understeers due to less grip levels. I end up with a 1:55 lap. Slow, but I was around 6 seconds up on my final lap before spinning. The guy who put me in the car said it would be useless to have another run as brakes and tyres were ruined.

And give my youtube channel GTP_Furinkazen a subscribe as well would ya all!

You're supposed to go straight on the straights you know Furi. :P

If I go straight the wheel shakes from side to side with the force feedback. Took me a bit to get used to it, i;m not a wheel user in sim racing remember so never driven with Force Feedback.

Need to work them arms out Furi, some of these should help.

To be honest I think most people struggle a bit with it at first. Once you're used to it it's just second nature though.

My 1:55 sitting here on right side. That was the 2nd lap. Lap 3 I was around 5 seconds up but that spin at end killed me. The 1:33 and 1:34 guys had prior knowledge of these things :scared:

@FordMKIVJ5 - Lap 3, the one I spun off on at end, I was so focused and really getting a feel for the car. I nailed Maggotts and Becketts for sure.
