Doug- The sticker is off now. Looks better now, even though it's filled up with everything I own and kinda dirty.

I understand the sentiment - mine will be full of my things (for a cross-country drive for the same purpose) in less than a week. I didn't know you lived in Kansas - I thought you were in North Dakota?

Nope. I'm from Kansas, but in Fargo, ND now for college.

It made the trip yesterday. It stuck to the road like glue in a massive I-29 South Dakota Thunderstorm. Everything I brought with me fit except for a TV and an end table. Now my check engine light is on. :grumpy: One more thing to worry about in a town I've been in for five whole hours.

It (the engine temperature) was between 85 and 95 the whole drive up.

Oh. Then your plates will start with AJF. AJK? AJE. Well the letters anyway.

Make sure to check the gas cap - a loose one puts the CEL on in a lot of cars. Is there even a Mercedes dealer in North Dakota?

Nope.. It will be registered from my Dad's house in Liberty, MO. The third time is the charm. Maybe it is the gas cap. I hope that's the case.

I'm not sure about a ND Mercedes dealer, as I haven't searched yet. But, there are several W124s running around here. The car is priority number two, as I'm still not entirely moved in, freshman move in day was today. My floor is the color of bloody excrement or melted hershey's, depending on how optimistic one is. :yuck:
