It all depends on what games you're playing, & how big your monitor is. If you're playing games like GT Sport that already runs at 60fps, then not so much. And, if your monitor isn't that big, you're not going to notice the difference between 1080p & 4K. I have a 40" Samsung TV, & TBH I can't tell the difference between 1080p & 4K, even close up.

Well I never experienced gaming in resolutions that high before broski, but I imagine the difference going from a launch PS4 to a new PS5 will be staggering.

Well I noticeable it with my old eyes, on what few games I’ve played so far.
I had OG PS4 too but I’m on tv instead of monitor.
