I just finished in 1st in the 1st race in the Formula Gt race

Hi guys im doing the Gran Turismo World championship in Formula Gt in extreme. I jus finished the 1st race with 63k credits an 29k rep.It took me 25 mins to complete it an its lik a 5 or 6 race event with 20 laps on each track in the event, just letting you people who cant do it know. :)
 
I've golded the championship last night :) the last race..ugh I finished last but still won the championship though. Going to get gold in that last race tonight ;)

dangnt, well oh well, im jus here for the $ an the rep, I owe a friend a Ford Gt cause he traded me a Formula gt an Puegot 908 for the Ford, an he gave me a F1 2007 Ferrari for only an AUdi, hes a good friend.
 
Yeah i jus won Indy , on Monaco now, is there 5 or 6 races ? Cause im getting bored of it an since i cant back out im stuck.
 
Still looking for that car in the used dealership :P Got 4.9cr in my wallet.

Fastest way to make the used dealership refresh is go to B licenses and select the 1st then just "arrow" your way to the 5th. Then exit out and volla 30 new cars at the Used Dealership. Took me 3 tires then the Formula GT showed up :)
 
I am trying to get money to buy an F1 for this race... What is the quickest way? Currently at 2.5 million.... Should I just race the american race over and over again? (98k) each time

Yea I golded the first one as well. But just wait till the last races. Make sure you have something you can PUNCH that wont hurt your hand!!
 
I just attempted this... >.<

Here's my thoughts; The First and Second races were great. Close racing but it was actually possible to get a decent lead 5 seconds. This was good as it urged you on but still made the races quite challenging.

Third Race; I didn't like this. I shortened my gear ratios and such, drove as quick as I could but could just not catch up to First place. I was setting fairly consistent times too but my frustration led me into many walls and I went down to 4th place. Phone rang on the 20th lap, I go answer it. When I come back I see I'm facing a wall. I unpause, immediately crash and finish 8th. >.<

Fourth Race; Easy enough, I was frustrated so I cut the final chicane to win by 40 seconds. However I noticed the AI ALWAYS spun at that chicane which was quite funny, although the best AI driver somehow managed never too. ;(

Fifth Race; By far the worst. I started with Intermediate's on as I thought they would be adequate. The AI pitted THREE times Yet, they still caught up to me and passed me. I was doing fairly slow laps, 1:30's. So I went faster and ended up in the 1:24's yet they were still pulling away. It was absolutely ridiculous. I was even cutting the Chicane to keep in my place. I finished Fifth.

I quit after this race. Mainly because one AI driver was WAY to fast. He didn't spin out like the others he always came second if I won, and due to my previous losses I couldn't catch up from 70 points behind. This was the thing that annoyed me most. I could handle losing some races but the fact that the margin for error is so small is ludicrous.

I even went out of my way on Nurbrugring/GP to push him off track. I succeeded. He was 12th, then every car spun out and he was second. >.<

This was my feelings towards this, argh. I will try again in time and I did enjoy the close battles, especially in the first two races however the fact that there was no margin of error was what made me quit before even attempting Suzuka.

I've done that for the past couple of hours, but still no sign of that beast. Anyways... I'm gonna continue searching.
 
I gold all the events after I turn off every assist, except for the line. Some how I focus more on the line than the AI drivers and it help me immensely. I used to focus on the drivers I had on the back to much an would have brain farts all the time when looking at the rear mirror. I won the first five events and quit the last to win the championship. Then I took Suzuka which was the easiest one with a margin of 45seconds.

Lol I won 4 in a row so i didnt race the last two i just abandon them, an still won championship, i just cut the chicane at nurbringing gp haha won by like 50 seconds.
 
I'm going to attempt this soon, although that prize car and some peoples' experiences are seriously putting me off trying it :P
 
Im still waiting to find one of those. Its all I have left in a-spec. Everything else is gold and of course this stupid used car lot crap is screwing me of going any further without grinding
 
whats a formula gt car? is that a type of car or a specific make and model? I'd like to do this race as well in b-spec, but dont know which car to look for.

Its like an F1 car but more RARE to get, You have ot find it in the used car dealership. Its fulll name is Formula Gran Turismo.

well i tried to insert a pic but wont let me. Its like 5.5m in used dealership.
 
Yep dont do what i did and raise 10000000 to buy the F1 2010 thinking it would work in the formula gt only to buy it and find out it doesnt work, then 15mins later see a formula gt car in the used dealership and not have enough to buy it cause I brought the bloody f1. Dont get me wrong its a friggin awesome car just didnt need it right now, plus body repair is 5,000,000 and engine overhaul another 3,000,000

Naa its not that expensive i own the Formula Gt an it only cost me 1m total of repairs
