My gosh, what have you got on there taking up so much space? I've got (what I consider) to be quite a large collection of videos and high-resolution images and graphics, and an average size collection of MP3's, but I'm only using 16.6 GB of my 80 GB drive!

well i dont d/l that stuff and the main probs might be the programfiles takes up 18gig, 2 big folders at about 6gig a piece 4 gigs of demos and thats about all i know on my hdd a side from the winnt folder (1.6gig) and all thats just 35.6gig

And i try to keep it below 6GB's (don't ask me why, as i don't know!).

I have a 40GB and the biggest program I have on my HDD at the moment is UT2003 (3gig).

You should convert your FAT32 drive to an NTFS - then you can compress some of your crap.

My HDD has a hidden partition on it, that's why it is 36.4gb and not 40gb.

What are you moaning about? The old 10% rule is nonsense now. You only need to worry about having enough space for a core dump (i.e. the amount of system RAM). You have 7.8GB free, that's 2GB more than the ENTIRE DRIVE in this laptop!
