I was halfway playing the Stars and Stripes races in Amateur League and I noticed that the Cobra always strugles with the corners so you just tap his bumper and he goes flying into a wall.

Good tip to know.

You've just noticed? You don't even have to tap his bumper, he does it himself.

lol. Just like the CLK LM does on the last turn in Laguna Seca. The first time I noticed it I was laughing so hard. I mean what kind of ai is that?!

The JGTC Skylines cannot deal with Laguna at all.

The cobra was drifting on LSR for me in the S&S... I looked back .... he was sideways...Never did figure out what he was trying to do

another stupid thing the cobra does is on the seattle endurance it pits every other lap:lol:

You try driving a 500hp Cobra round Seattle on T7 tyres, and see how often YOU pit... :D

Especially the Pennzoil Nismo one...I laugh when I overtake it just after the corkscrew...the GT40 is also an offender on the last turn.

As I and other have documented, the AI in Amateur get an unbelievable power boost when they are loosing. The Game modifies their power multiplier based on how far behind they are.

I've seen a Clio Sport make up the time differential of an entire pit stop in one lap on Tokyo R246.

The Rally AI get this boost as well.

This relates to the S&S races and the Cobra. What happens when you add power to the Cobra? It makes an oversteering car into a beast to control. Hence, the AI can seem to keep it going in the right direction.

i was racin on rome 2 (cant remeber which race) and the zzs was doing braking drifts into the first corner it was quite funny to watch he would be full opposite lock under braking then at about the apex he would straighten up and drive out.

Yeah, big time. Just to experiment, I took an F090 out and built a .75 lap lead in about 4 laps. 3 laps later, I was still around the same lead.

It's a LOT more pronounced in Rally. I could NOT lose any of my opponents at all, no matter how fast/well I drove. 2 seconds was about tops. The funny thing is, it's easy to lead them, but MUCH harder to catch them up if you mess up.

Kinda cheesy, I always thought. Reward me for driving consistently, darnit!

I never notice it in rally. I can get a 6 second lead in proffesional mode, and up to 15 in all others. Then again I consider rally as my specialist area.

I just noticed the Oreca Viper can get a racing muffler upgrade for the nice price of zero credits. Of course, it also offers no power upgrade!

Yeah, I noticed that one on the rallies. When I tried comparing times racing later by myself I was left in disbelief!
