Yes please!! im falling asleep with GT5p menu music.
Who could forget East City?
I definitely want traditional GT music for GT5. Honestly, the jazz material in Prologue is actually fantastic and it's so calm and relaxing, but for GT5 I'd so much rather what we used to get. It just fits the game much better.
"Daft Punk is playing at my house, at my house!"Yes please!! im falling asleep with GT5p menu music.
...Im already sad the 'World map' has been thrown out for a more conventional and typical game menu...

Or, ZOMG...N.E.R.D.! Anyone who's had the misfortune to endure Forza 2's awful soundtrack will know just what I'm getting at.
Forza 2 music is just a bit better but not a whole more, Forza 1 soundtrack is amazing.
By the way, nice to see that you CANT stand someone saying anything wrong about the game without "attacking" back

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a jerk or anything, but FM1 may have the worst soundtrack of any game I ever played. It was just cheap instrumental covers of classic rock songs. Microsoft could have at least tried to get the licensed music from the real artists themselves, I guess they were just too lazy.
FM2's soundtrack was slightly better than the first game's (but that's not saying much). Instead of having bad rock, it had bad techno. Big improvement, guys 👎
Meanwhile Gran Turismo hasn't had a good soundtrack in years. The menu music has always been brilliant, but the in-game soundtrack for GT3, GT4, and GT5P was just horrible mainstream pop (at least in the US versions). There were a few decent tracks, but nothing can compare to the GT1 and GT2 soundtracks.
Everyone has a different taste in music and as you could probably tell I'm really picky. So as long as there are custom soundtracks I will be happy![]()
Agreed, 200%.The music for the different dealers in GT1 made them feel special and somehow made buying a car more satisfying.
The one where you buy a new part for a car is great tooHas anyone got the sound when you unlock a license on either Gran Turismo or Gran Turismo 2? Love that sound![]()
Actually, I found the GT4 list, whittled down, to be the best in-game racing soundtrack to any game. daiki kasho has done some of the best music for racing in GT4, with tracks such as "Good days, bad days" (ghost of Dead Man's Curve). Plus we got a great version of "Moon Over The Castle" by Synthetic - or two, though the longer version wasn't quite as good. I'm really grateful we got a few of those tracks from the Japanese version. Here's hoping that SONY will load up GT5 with even more great songs from all versions rolled into one.Gran Turismo hasn't had a good soundtrack in years.
