I'd go cassis or derbygreen. I like the turquoise but it only looks good on some cars (TT and S3 probably not those).

Yeah It really is not easy. Thanks for your preferences 👍
I still have no clue, and people keep on throwing colours at me

I do love Emerald and derby green.
Cassis is vs Black cherry and Velvet
But I really have no clue yet, I do also really love the shiraz red.

Here are two other cool :

Amethyst Metallic:

Dark Burgundy Pearl:

Shiraz Red, Cassis Pearl, and Amythest Metallic would all look excellent on the S3, if you ask me.

Ohh man, I'm pissed.

After 5000km on the summer rims. Not a scratch, nothing, they look like new.

Now after 300km on winter rims, an idiot comes in the middle of the road so I had to evade, took the sidewalk, this is the result.

He as gone quite fast, so calling the cops was not an option, wouldn't have served nothing :(

Ouch, though looking arte bright side they are not the summers and the car had no suspension damage. I feel your pain though, some people are just totally inconsiderate

Yeah, it will be a good excuse to powdercoat them

So after I missed the offer on the engine carbon trim,
I got an other offer I can't really refuse:

Glovebox Carbon Trim:

Handles in Carbon:

Centre Console:

Engine Bay trim 3x:

Diffusor Carbon:

zu-m-ttrshso001car-z.jpg

I would get a really good price on those. It's original piece with laminated Carbon, done by a german guy who is really one of the best. Osir is a crap turd compared to his work.

The 2/3 of the engine bay is genuine Quattro GMBH and cost a stunning 2300€

On this offer it's even cheaper than on my last offer I got.

I can snatch all for a grand. Done new, it cost easily the triple. More like 4 times.

Carbon wing is also available.

As are these:

18.jpg

Genuine Audi R8 GT Carbon Mirrors. Unavailable without a matching GT Vin nummer. So
but they cost sooooo much.

He also has the fuel cap in carbon, but I kind of like it in silver. Gotta keep a bit of silver on the car

So the carbon parts are mine, minus wing, mirrors and fuel cap. All the rest will get in my car after xmas :D

Sorry to hear about the wheel! The carbon trim looks great, I like it alot in my S4.

The GTR should be ready for springtime. I don't take delivery of the car during winter months as I have 3 months of warrenty on it, and it would be sad if for the 3 months the car would be sitting in the garage.

The S3 is still awaiting the sandblasting. Should also start soonish. At least I hope. They had appointements for 6 months and they try to push me somewhere inbetween. So I can't really complain. The car is sitting in the garage, in the dry....

The TTRS has 99% of the carbon trim installed. But the Diffusor is killing me. I just can't get it in..... I will undergo the last try on the diffusor today. Otherwise I will let a workshop install it...

Like always in life, things don't pan out as planned. Everything takes so much longer when other people come into play.... Always better "self do, self have" (the saying sounds better in german)

Pictures than in the next days of the carbonised TTRS :D

And yeah it does look great

The Interior carbon is custom made and not full but laminated.

Also I don't think I posted this in here yet, so :

Thanks mate 👍

It does look epic and changes completely the interior feel :D
carbon rocks

In the future (in a year or so) I plan to get it another layer of clearcoat, making the carbon pop even more. And there are some minor scratches in it. They aren't visible after I polished it, but as I bought it used, it's quite normal.

Thanks mate 👍

In the future the whole rear spoiler will probably get replaced by the MTM Full Carbon one. And the alu front frame maybe laminated... future will tell. But this is already a lot of Carbon. I love it.

Good news everyone !

(who read that in Farnsworth voice :D )

I will have good news regarding the GTR in the next days. I will tell you the story when I have it, but it went from vendors vouching for the guy to a huge clusterduck. The story is batwhip crazy.
So stay tuned. You will be entertained.

And the RS news: bought some undercarrige swaybars for it. But install is around 4 hours, so I will probably wait with the install till I have other parts for the suspension.

And finally on the S front : nothing new. It's still not mediablasted. I am pissed at my cousin for not doing it. So I am looking at other possibilities....

Wow it's crazy how much time you have spent without the GTR, and I thought I had it bad when my car spent a bunch if months at the mechanic.

So I still haven't my Skyline but now I can tell the story because today massive Police raided the guy and took him into custody.

I resume the beginning:
End 2011 I bought a GTR in Japan.
Beginning 2012 I arrived in Belgium.
Tuning of the car begin in mid 2012.
Beginning 2013 I was sick, so I didn't really show interest in the whole story as my healthy had priority.

Now to the wierd stuff. Most of the excuses the guy came up with where completly lies. He had back problems and his wife seperated from him, Those are true. All the rest were probably lies.
Now because the guy didn't answer for months, I relogged into the Skyline forums around the net. And what I found out was shocking:
The company had filed bankruptcy in mid 2013. Never knew that. The guy obviously never told me that.
He was arrested in jan 2014, for a huge plantation of cannabis.
beginning feb. I got an email from him, so he was out.
So I started treatening him with all the legal actions I could think of (without a lawyer, I bluffed him in thinking I had one). I scared him so much that I got the transport papers of a company making the transport a few days ago. I seem to be the only guy that schieved that, even the guys that actually had lawyers didn't pressure him enough.

But as all the customers car were missing, I put down a statement at the Police. I also didn't trust the guy to the point where I doubted he would hand over my car to the transport company. That and the statement of an other guy was enough for the police to stike again. They were waiting for those statements to be made.

So today, massive Police force raided all the adress known (which I had found out too) and took the guy and his dad into custody.
All the customers vehicules were found.

Justice was served.

The con'er was con'd by the con'ee.

I will now have to wait till all the burocrtic stuff is over and police free my car again. Then it goes to a tuner that helped me a lot in the last weeks to check the car so the engine doesn't blow on my the first miles.

This season I will drive my GTR. Finally.

i+present+you+with+this+picture+may+you+use+it+_f3040e4b04f196e34784cb5f8b31ed2d.jpg

Without a lawyer.

After a few weeks that were very stressful, I can't wipe the smile from my face now.

I get my car back (which I had written off) and i got the guy into jail.

**** Yeah

Finally good news! i followed your story on the skylineclub benelux forum. im glad it all worked out!

i hope the police will hurry up and give your car back :)

So I still had a stressful weekend.

13 customers cars were found. 3 are missing. OF the 13, 3 were white with one belonging knowingly to another customer.

That left 2 white cars / 3 cars missing. So statistics weren't on my side for the weekend.

A pantsful weekend.

This morning I got the call that made everything good.
My chassis number got checked with the cars at the depot, mine is in the lot.

So confirmation my car is safe and sound at the curators depot. The curator needs a week of holiday after this and a week to finish all the paperwork.
In 2 weeks time, I go up there, get my car on a trailer and maybe if I am lucky I even find some of the tuning parts I ordered (cops confiscated that too, need to check now if some of them belong to me) . If some of the parts are there, that would drasticly mild the finanical blow.
Hell only the cusco suspension would be great, they were expensive as duck.

Then a few weeks to inspect the car and make it legal (probably not done).

I hope start of May is the month I got to lay down some blacks on the blacktop

So the GTR,

my new guy inspected all the cars and parts yesterday. And I am a lucky one.
It took him the whole day, till late in the evening to inspect everything!

The cars look abmysabal. Most were stocked outside for long periods of time, meaning rust buckets, other are missings big parts like hood, trunk, engine,....

Mine on the contrary, with a few others, look okay.
My seats are missing though. WTF! But the car looks good enough. But all my parts seem to be missing except the brakes upgrade (discs and pads), but don't know what make it is yet.
And the parts that were found look really bad too, bad storaging. So public sale will not generate a lot, thus me not writing me in as creditor. More work and money spent for getting nothing (first state, then shops, than customers).

There is still some investigative stuff in the making, as a GTR34 is still missing. But if that leads to something is highly doubtable.
So this is probably it. I have a car that is in a okayish state.

I need to wait now for an order from the curator to go fetch my car. That can take a few weeks to 2 months :S .
Then it goes into the shop and it will get restored to former glory.

Previous plan was, tuning and then restoring bit by bits.
Now it will get a full restoration first. To what extent still needs to be pondered.

The whole story is just wierd to infinite and isn't finished. For me this is it. I have no advantage of persuing anything legal, as there isn't a lot to take away anyway. But the guy will have a bad time. He will go to jail after the sentence is spoken. And that for a long time.
Am I pissed? Hell yeah, or at least I was. I try to not think about what I lost, but what I have. It serves nothing apart from stressing me out.

I will post a few pics later (need my other pc) you will see yourself.

You seem to have atrocious luck with your cars! Are there a lot of dodgy companies around you or are you just choosing the bad ones accidentally?

Looks bad?*

Here is some of the others:

2evb51k.jpg

As I got told, mine looks good substance wise. What is not the case for most of them.
But it needs some love.
I'm pondering right now, if I leave it off the streets for this year and really do some proper work on it. I probably could get it on the streets this year to drive a few months but I don't think that's worth it to jump the gun.

Some proper images come up when I go up to get the car out. I really hope it's in a few weeks rather than in 2 months. Then I can make a proper decision as what will happen to the car.

You seem to have atrocious luck with your cars! Are there a lot of dodgy companies around you or are you just choosing the bad ones accidentally?

Yeah you know, I kind of feel really stupid when telling these stories. I boil it down to really a lot of bad luck, but I really believe a lot of garages have some criminal or immoral activity and incompetence behind them. I heard so many stories from high profile dealers or small garages. When you read the story behind the 2 cars, the S3 was at an offical Audi dealer and the GTR guy had no negative comments on all skyline forums. I want to believe it is bad luck. I want to believe that there are still honest and competent people out there.
There is a reason why my TT goes into Germany for servicing and not in one of the countless Audi dealers here in Luxemburg = Incompetence, and some shady practices (changing brake pads, selling oil that is more expensive than printer ink,...)

I'm glad this si all over for you, I bet you'll feel relieved when the car is in your possession.

Thanks

Yeah, I feel relieved already having a really awesome new garagiste now that will make everything possible to get as much stuff back as he can, and to help me make the GTR awesome again and getting it on the road.

Albeit I have lost some money and it ain't just a few bucks, there are people in this story who got it really bad. I feel bad for the guy with the GTR34. That's a min. of 35k. Up to 60k is possible. That guy is a poor dude. An other GTR33 is missing the whole engine. That's at least 5k gone.

The seats gone is half so bad, while the GTR seats are okay, they are quite small height. Some proper Recaro Pole Position will fit the car nicely (that's decided :D)

* The domes are not full of rust, which could have been the case if it was stored outside. So that's good

I should be getting a date soon to get my car out in the next two weeks.

The others have again taken a huge slap:
The curator wants money and thus all parts are his now :boggled: . He takes belgian law to the fullest. Those who don't have serial numbers of the parts in the invoice loose all their parts.
Well that's all of them, because that nearly never happens. Most of those parts don't even have serial numbers, just part numbers.
As all of mine were already gone, never found, I'm not concerned by this. But there are people with whole engines now gone, expensive parts. Vapor ware :scared:

This story is just bat 🤬 crazy
