Hey :D, I searched and didnt find a topic like this one but if there already is one sorry :(

If Gran Turismo 5 has engine transplants and induction mods (turbos, superchargers) What cars will you make? :D

A S15 silvia with a skyline engine in it would be nice and very fast :drool:

Also I would make a ferrari F430 supercharged, that would be rapid :nervous:

What combinations would you make?
 
I would twin charge a Fiat Panda.

Okay maybe not.

I would happily twin charge the Audi R8.
 
I'd just want to put the V8 from the ZR1 into everything :)

Making some horrendous creation would be nice, say a Lamborghini V12 in a Cappucino 👍
 
A 350z with an LS7 stuffed inside...but that won't happen I guess. Maybe a 370z with the GTR's engine stuffed inside and upgrade the turbos.
 
A Civic with a 787B engine. Or a Prius with the biggest engine in the game :D.
 
I would happily put some boost on the type-r.

Or maybe not.

Might just see how much boost the Sti, and Evo IX can take, and race them both to see which is faster.
 
Are the combo's supposed to be realistically possible? Or anything goes in this thread?

A Some kind of light weight FWD Japanese car with a Mercedes power plant with RWD setup.
 
Shelby Cobra engine in the Mustang.
 
Id probably stick to things Ive always wanted to do to cars I or have owned like a

1 or 2JZ into a RA24 celica
RB26 into a 240z
1JZ into a MKII supra

things like that
 
If engine transplants make it into GT5 I don't think we will be able to put a engine in a car that are not from the same company.(Chevy engine in a dodge for example) With that said that's what I would like to try.
ZR1 engine in a 2010 Camaro SS.
Viper SRT-10 (600HP engine) in a Dodge neon. :D
and the list goes on......
 
I would transplant my brain while Famine could easily join me as soon as he sees this thread.
 
I'd transplant a Ford GT engine into a Ford Mondeo... 💡

Anyway... I would do... A V8 truck engine in a Mini Cooper!

that would be interesting but theres a 4g63 out there with 83psi of boost,might be hard to get to that level!

That's insanity...Must be a marvel of an engine to handle that much pressure.
 
It you be cool if they had a launch control system for the cars.

Or If you could anti-Lag your cars.

If they put in engine swaps... I'd at least hope they take into account engine bay space, and just as important the swapping or implementation of modified transmissions.

But, seeing PD's track record, I do believe they'd keep it tasteful and to the point. I.e. no absurdities... hopefully.
