Laguna seca or...the ring!!! Please!!!

Also, I'd like to see all of the current F1 tracks included, and possibly the new one in Abu Dhabi for 09. How frickin cool would it be to race online, under the lights at say the new Singapore F1 street circuit at night time? I sure hope PD is listening! :)

Because my most favourite tracks from all racing games (Brands Hatch, Bathurst, LeMans, El Capitan, Midfield & Nürburgring Nordschleife) were already mentioned and i finally am bored from Monza (never thought that would happen) i have only 1 left i want:

Citta di Aria

And yes, i am serious.

Why? The Singapore race was saved only by Piquet's sacrafice. It had one overtaking point and that was it (although admittedly, thats 1 more than Monaco and Valencia). The night race thing wasn't something that really improved the track in any way either.
That track is quickly becoming highly over-rated.
Also, why would you want Valencia Street Circuit? At least why for F1?

Tsukuba

Well known from Best Motoring and would suit as BM is in video service as well. Then i could do my own best motoring races (well only if custom events come somedays)

Top gear track would be sick, but I would like Deep Forest, one of my favorite. anyone know
that one from GT2 that was in the mountains and it had a train along one straight?
that was grindelwald, fun track 👍 as for real life tracks in gt5p, zandvoort would be good

If I remember right, it will be in F1 calendar in the near future.

I think it should be the home of the UK round in 2010 if they get some changes done laid out by the F1 head honchos, if they don't have them done in time then its back to silverstone. Please get them done right. I'd love to see F1 at my home circuit.

Citta di Aria

And yes, i am serious.

I'd really like that too!

Seconded! Oulton Park and Donnington would be awesome too!

I'd pick Brands first, then Oulton Park, then Donnington and Silverstone 4th out of the British circuits.

If i could have only one track it would have to be the Nurbugring but if it was one extra track id have to pick Tsukuba (possibly in the wet)

Nurburgring if I can choose only one. Nurburgring and Citta di Aria if I can choose two!

I haven't raced now for a couple weeks. Partly because I'm tired of the tracks PD almost always chooses for the pro races... I definitely needed a break. I sure hope they start mixing things up a bit more.

Tsukuba is the most boring track ever to be featured in any racing-game. And both GT and Forza2 makes sure that it stays boring aswell, since they use it far too much.

+1. I no longer look forward to racing at Tsukuba. I know it pleases the JDM crowd, but it bores the hell out of me.

Spa Francorchamps, Road Atlanta or Adelaide would work for me.

And just one nitpick that I see all the time here at GTPlanet. It's called La Sarthe, not "Le" Sarthe. Sarthe is feminine, thus requiring the preceding La. I know people probably confuse the article with Le Mans/Les 24h du Mans, but it still bugs the heck out of me.

Nurburgring , I miss this track , thats why I still play GT4 on occasion , just to keep in touch with it.

"Why?"

You wouldn't like to experience driving a night time street circuit with a phenomenal backdrop...especially with the level of graphics capable in GT5??? SERIOUSLY. We are talking about driving/racing the production based cars in Gran Turismo (at least I was), not what track suits Formula 1 cars best :ouch: Wasn't this thread about what track you would like to see in the game after all?

A PP650 race would be absolutely awesome at Singapore, especially considering all of the different performance traits of the cars in that class. F1 cars are obviously extremely similar in all aspects of performance, this is why passing is so difficult on any track where there is not a massive braking section from high speeds with wide entries and exits. A PP650/500/750 race would give plenty of clean passing opportunities, at least as many as at Suzuka IMO. Also, for 09 the orginizers of the Singapore GP plan to change the track layout to encourage more overtaking...happy now?

MONACO!!! i think there was only one person so far to mention this amazing street course. its amazing on tv and in person (yes i said in person) i was there in 05 and it was absolutely amazing...

Please no TSUKUBA. This is a bashers paradise course. Its to short for online racing. Perfect for drifting.
El Captain, or the beatiful Trial Mountain

The 'ring, naturally, but if not that, Road Atlanta. It's a lovely little track that can hold races of many varieties. Drifting, endurance, GT, superbikes, anything. There's some great elevation changes, a smooth little S-turn and an excellent chicane on the back straight.

Hmmm for me its...
1.Nordschleife
2.Grindelwald (from gt2-i just do not understand till today why PD didn't brought this back yet -.-)
3.Red Rock Valley (the same as for above)

Ok, i have to explain myself.^^
Look, 90% of players want Nordschleife like me, but i think this thread should show PD which tracks should occur in GT5, so i picked Grindelwald and Red Rock Valley too, just because i think they are hugely fun and therefore absolutely essential!

Tskuba is way too short for good online racing, it'd never get used, like London and Eiger.
The Nurb' is way too long, nobody would bother memorizing that track except us hardcore types, and online play would be constant bashing and cheating.

I'd say Trial Mountain.
A really good chance to show off the graphics for promo shots and vids, complex track layout, loads of elevation change, great for online... damn yummy. :sly:

Since we know the ring is reserved for the full GT5 (even though I want it NOW) I'll say Spa, especially if they fix the EDE.
