If you could real-world own any GT5 car...which?

Tesla Roadster. Almost free to drive, no emissions, very fast acceleration (GT5 has it wrong), decent top speed (would never reach it on public roads anyway) and at the moment it's the only 100% electric car that actually looks great.

Don't think I'd want anything else. Ferrari's, Lambo's etc are all great ofcourse but why choose for a gas car when this electric car has better performance for on public roads and costs close to nothing no matter how you drive it (fast or slow).

Did you see the Top Gear review, I'm not agreeing or saying that they're correct but they say that it's: unreliable, takes 8 hours to charge, and runs out of fuel in 33 miles.

Yeah and TopGear got sued for giving false information. Still don't know what to think of it.

About the 8 hours charge though, we usually sleep for 8 hours at least so I don't see the problem of this. :p If the range according to Tesla is right, it can already drive further than my current car which I refuel once a week.
 
If I went with the McLaren F1, that would be a hell of a T.C.O.
If I went with the MP4-12C then I would have issues with parking (seeing as kow much space you need to open its doors).
The Lambos anf Ferraris are nice to but again TCO and maintenance would be an issue.
Ruf would be a good way to go but the models are a bit old for my tastes.
So I'm thinking that a GT-R would be my final answer. Its got seating for 4 and a trunk. Being a Nissan, there wouldn't be a problem finding an authorized repair shop. Being all wheel drive, it should be safer to drive.

I also have the blue one and plan on collecting all the colors. Would be cool if I could race mod the premium one.

Ok, I would want the '96 Lotus that wheelies. But I could wheelie all I like at home, then as soon as I take it out it would no longer do it. (Stupid online physics)

My psn id is GT-HO-FALCON, so a Ford Falcon GT HO would have been my choice. But the GT40, mmmmmm! Me and my little me would be well compensated by a GT40.
 
My Verde Ithaca (lime green) Murcielago is another hoot.. its the last of the true brute lambos that will actually make an effort to try and kill you
 
Well assuming you're not looking for the "the most expensive car and sell it to buy X" response, I'd just go with a Corvette Z06. I could afford the insurance and maintenance, and I love the car. It would be enough for me, and would be plenty reliable as opposed to a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
 
Any of the pebble beach cars, or an original 66 cobra 427 (my favorite car in real life) or the 69 gt40 (my 2nd favorite car in real life)
 
suzuki escudo dirt trial car, 1,000 hp and 800 kg, beat the piss out of any car,( at least off the line of coarse )
 
I just got an M3 sedan IRL so I'm quite partial to it I don't think it would be the car I'd get if cost were no object, but I love it and I feel blessed to have it.

Cost no object it would depend on if I could have 2 cars or just 1. If I could have 2 then I'd likely get a McLaren F1 as my toy and something like an M5 as my daily driver. If I had to choose just one car to do everything it would likely be the 4 door Aston Martin or 4 door Maserati. Of the cars in GT5 I'd likely pick the M5.

The Dodge Viper has been calling my name since GT1... I wanna own one for real... And for sure I'll have it :)
 
I would like a Ferrari 599 and for those wondering why I always say that to threads similar to these well this is what happened:
When I got GT5P I couldn't do any corner and I had no idea on how to drive a car. I started filing up my garage with some cars until I got the Ferrari 599 and for fun I watched a Formula F2007 London replay which told me how to handle a car (also known as braking) and started doing the Eiger Norwand beginner race with all aids including TC at 10. Then I started my true racing career. When I got GT5 and finished the entire Professional Series in Gold I got a level 12 car and then I got my Ferrari 599 and then started realizing that allot of people didn't buy this car and went for the 458 Italia or Scuduria instead. Now I started from Daytona Grinding to finished the Red Bull X challenge on bronze.
