I'm waiting until Labor Day, (a big holiday here in the USA). I'll order it then, just in case there's a holiday sale here.

Waiting for actual race footage against the AI, more details on the career, more hands-on impressions with gamepad, just more. I’m all digital (but not adorably) these days anyway so pointless to preorder.

Plus I think it comes out on a Tuesday so I wouldn’t be able to play much the first few days anyway. Plenty of time to wait for reviews.

Still not sure. I did lost some of my attention when they announced that psvr2 version is no more…

Still game looks nice, but now I am just waiting for day one opinions.

Won’t pre order it.

I have thought about it but I want to catch it on sale maybe around Christmas time

I've p****d away $100 so many times over the past 50 years, once more won't matter. :)
I am in the same boat and like to see some racing against AI before pulling the trigger but I really look forward this game and I will support the developers and take the free cars for pre-order as bonus. (Long sentence, short message: buy!)

Not yet am thinking of doing so deluxe edition, need more info on how game will feel on a game pad PS5. Its looking good what I’ve seen youtube.

Nope, and never will preorder any game, scummy tactic to hold content back unless you do.
I realise most of the time it’s just skins or liveries that don’t affect general gameplay but with me it leaves a bad taste

I am not ashamed to confess that they pulled the right trigger for me and I have the rare feeling to want this game - now and all of it! It is still two months away but I will surely pre-order the year 1-bundle. Kudos to the marketing people!
(Yes, this is not sensible or logical but I enjoy a little childish nonsense from time to time... No need to talk me out of it.)

I still can’t decide to pre order or wait , i’m so tempted to do it, but something in my head is telling me me to hold off.

I don't want to pre-order. However, I may have to do so last minute if the GTE pack can only be had by pre-ordering and won't be sold seperately.

Devs have already said that dlc can be purchased separately
I see. Thank you. So the pre-order lets you save some more money.

I'll still wait to know more about the car and track list before I place any order. I want to make sure some big name aren't absent.

In case anyone on PC was thinking of ordering and wanted a good deal (£30)

Never been a fan of getting digital only versions of games or other media unless it’s the only option . Yes i know it’s probably cheaper but i realy think it’s good to have a physical copy.

It is inevitable. More and more games are digital only, the console manufacturers are making disc drives an optional add-on, retailers are starting to stop selling physical units, the discs are increasingly becoming just licence keys with the full game needing to be downloaded, day 1 patches and DLC not on the disc, etc, etc.

At least on PC (and Xbox) there is an open market so you can get deals.

I never pre order anything. The idea of having to pay upfront for a game before I know how it runs just doesn't make sense to me, its not like it can be returned if its no good.

I have made the odd pre order here and there but very rare I pre order any game since the PS3 days.

I want to see if this game gets abandoned after only about 15 months of patches and updates like we saw with the Project Cars games.

If it looks that way then I want no part of it. If the game is still going strong into 2027 I might jump onboard then.

Fingers crossed a different publisher means better & longer support. For what it’s worth Farming Sim 22 from Giants was released in Nov 2021 and had patches/updates up to April 2024, according to the wiki. Of course that is one they themselves developed so it may not apply to one they just publish. I guess in the end it’s all about the sales. A successful game with an active playerbase will be more likely to be supported.

As far as I know they haven’t even mentioned anything past year 1 anyway, so I’m just basing my purchasing decision on the content already advertised.
