I'm wrong, cars on kart tracks are apparently awesome.

Just drove it for the first time with a real car. The caterham made me feel like a 6 year old finding a jar of candy and drifting the 07 M3 made me feel like a 6 year old who ate the whole damn jar.

The initial decision was a poor one. Very poor in fact. There was no reason for it, and it carried no benefits. If people want to drive a car on a track, they should be able to. It's up to you to avoid rooms you don't like.

I hate RS tires, SRF, light damage, penalties, and a few other things. What right do I have to ban those things outside of my own room?

Wasn't actually suggesting anything be banned. Just flapping my gums. Guess it's hard to get half-joking across on the internet.

I drifted there, very good track for drifts.. and also tryed WRC focus.. very fun indeed, similar to indoor rallying..

16 people using Tank Cars is the ultimate source of fun on the course. You will realize it when you do this.

I have to imagine X2s wouldn't be nearly as fun because they are impossible to spin out. The room I was in, though, looked like a 70's cop movie. 10 laps of big, burly RWD cars slamming into each other, driving in reverse and doing reverse 180s to get back into the racing line, sliding through half the turns...

I mean, if you wanted a serious race then of course you were out of luck; but if you wanted straight up fun than I honestly don't think it can be matched.

It's an awesome photo location, and driving any car around it is like going to Disney World. It's lively and fun, and as long as the car is under 4000 LBS it's a blast. I don't get why people hate it so much. The lights themselves literally brighten your day, it's almost magical. And I'm serious.

Imagine a liveried up car on that :sly: have you checked out the photo thread for the kart space with cars on fella ;)

I have to disagree, I found it very fun to drift around in the new RX-7 TC :dopey: as well as the R34 TC (or powersliding the R34 for whoever cares what it be called)

after racing a real car on the space kart truck...I'm now hoping that PD can maybe add a few "race of champions" indoor type of tracks into the game.

Oh yeah, I got that as well  No matter what the banked corner is a perfect candidate for drifting to ensue
Exactly! I got a faster time drifitng with this than when I drifted with the RX-7 TC. I am not kidding. XD

Oh and drifing here with a Ferrarri 599 is a total blast. 815 HP going around the bend at 30 to 50 MPH. So fun.:dopey:

Had an epic race with a mate on Kart Space with the Honda CR-Z TC a couple of days ago. Can't imagine how much fun it's would have been with more people! :D

complain about no cars on kart space
complain about cars on kart space
complain about everything. Nobody forced you to buy the game, dlc, or drive a car on a kart track.

Wow.

What crawled up your pants? I don't actually care that much. Jesus. People take this thread so seriously. Did I really translate that poorly? I love the game, the track is beautiful. Happy now? That everyone agrees with you? If you look at the thread you'll see I'm not being sarcastic, either. I really am an island surrounded by people who drift tanks on an indoor kart track :dopey:

Seriously, stop being so serious. It's just an opinion. I was curious if anyone else had tried turning left or right on the track and was met with opposition immediately. I was wondering if anyone else tried changing gears fruitlessly.

But apparently you've all got it down to a science and I just need to give it more of a chance. And drive on the version that isn't an inch-long square.

But honestly, everyone, I'm not complaining. I don't take myself that seriously so you probably shouldn't either...

I drifted the Miata TC on the Kart Space track with a steering wheel on Comfort Mediums. It was hard keeping control of it even when trying to get a fast time.

I used the Miata TC on the Nurburgring last night with a controller. That was easy.

Using a wheel makes it so much more gratifying. You have to work to keep control of the car at all times. I was day-dreaming in the middle of a lap with the controller and realized it just as I was going around a corner. The challenge isn't there without a wheel.

Hating a Kart Track without Karts? That's like saying you hate tea without putting the teabags in..
