Image Resize suggestion.

I really love how the forum automatically scales larger images but it would be nice if it showed the original dimensions next to the click to enlarge text. Is this something that can be easily implemented or more complex?

I personally like the look without the resolution moreso than the functionality of having it there. I've never seen another forum without the resolution listed and the way it's done here looks much simpler. I hardly notice the bar at all, which is great because I don't want to see the bar, I want to see the picture.

Yeah but it gets a little frustrating when your browsing such threads as Imports or the Sexy & Mean car pic thread for computer wallpapers only to waste a load of time clicking on images that are only a few pixels bigger than the resize frame.

EDIT: A quick mockup in photoshop, obviously properly implemented the font and colour would match.

While I notice some activity in this sub-forum from Jordan I was wondering if I could get an opinion on this idea?

It can be done, but I left it out originally because I didn't see the dimensions as useful or particularly interesting enough to display above each image. Though I can see where having this info visible would be handy if you're looking for wallpaper of a specific size, it would probably be best if you just disabled the feature during such times.

It'd definitely be nice for the slower computers....

For example, those Panoramic images that are 5000px+ in width in the "amazing photo thread" can be surprising at times, because some people post some that are just larger than my screen, while others are 2 or 3 times the width.
