Very good work on season4 event restrictions, thanks again :D

i guess im not on GTP average cause I simply can not do the volvo and the challenger with your restrictions.
so to keep it interesting for me and I made a few changes called 'noob corner'

event #1
Same idea but all stock settings.

event #2
used sports soft and had a real hard time with it.
missed an LSD sooo much, but i kept it clean whithout it for gold.

event #3
hard one, mainly cause I hate the track anyway.
used sports soft and got an oil change.

event #4
got it on the easy challenge you did on 2nd try

event #5
got it with the oil change using the NSX

thanks for the good work, and see you guys on Season 5!!

All #4 Challenges are up, thanx to all who participated!

Thank you for doing PD's job. You and your guys are making these events way more enjoyable.👍

EDIT: This should be a sticky on the seasonal events forum.

So much thanks! Then, we have our own "standard" or yardstick to gauge our level. It's challenging and thus funny. I hope you all would provide restrctions for next seasonal events.

3. Dodge Challenger SRT8 / Daytona Road Course

Masochist Corner: work in-progress > testing minimum HP upgrade for stock tyres

I'm trying this with the Sports Hard default tyres and only the oil change (which I had done to the car before this challenge came up), but I'm getting nowhere... Always a few seconds behind the 1st place.

Just tried the C30 R challenge with a stock car and finished about 20secs behind the leader (in 2nd). It feels like some upgrading is needed to win but has anyone cleared it without upgrading?

Also, awesome thread!

With the sports hard upgrade it was very doable,
but the masochist challenge is a little above my head!

How about seasonal event 5? Please give restrictions or yardstick. What restrictions do make it hard or easy? Thanks!

-----------------------------

I needed an oil change to win with CH, I took the lead a little bit sooner than with CM but it was a good to win a challenge using CH tyres. On my CH no oil change effort I WANTED to use the other cars but they were never in the right place... typical.

Amar, you did it again, thanks for the Seasonal Events 5 restrictions!

You're great, don't change never! 👍👍👍

Arh ok, I thought the masochist challenge meant no upgrades.

No, Masochist Challenges are restricted to levels of almost impossible, where we try to find the restriction sequence to catch the leader in full race with minimum margin possible and on most demanding set of tyres.

How close did you get?

Volvo C30, stock tires + oil change was somewhere in margin of high 2:23/24 per lap, if I remember well. And you need 2:22 for catching the ST. Impossible pretty much because grip level just eats the seconds in turning and accelerating.

BTW We just tested TVR Tuscan Challenge for the 3rd race of #5SE, added to OP.

Excellent, I thought SH would be enough. I will be re-doing that one at the weekend.

Unfortunately, defualt tyres were a mistake in report I got for the TVR event. Apologizes for that.

Sports Medium are real prerequisite, sorry for confusion. OP edited, regards.

Thanks for posting continuing to post these. Top work.

That's a relief. Just tried this with stock tyres and wondered why I was so slow in this car.

Thanks again.

Oooh that's so close... if you could shave a second off somewhere each lap it might do it... that's what I hate about trial and error, there is no mathematical way to prove it's just not possible...

Thanks for doing this testing btw! The challenge is appreciated. Also think this deserves a sticky!
