So wait is this out in Japan?

Man this is one of the few games that would force me to get a 360, i'm not realy botherd how it looks but if it's online man that would be freakin awesome.

It should be released on July 27th in Japan and hopefully soon after in the rest of the world. It could take many months, but since they release these pics with flags and a lot of english we might get it soon after. Maybe we are lucky and even get an Asian region code free version in July, who knows....
 
I'm looking forward to it. It's definitely a niche game.

ps - You don't have to install a stereo, neon, or nitrous. Just like you didn't have to do a motor-swap, big turbo, sequential gearbox, and a rollcage in the previous TXR.

Maybe you'll laugh, but I don't think so. Honestly, the cars look authentic and apart from some textures the grafics are nice.... I mean , take Top Spin 2, doesn't look that great in normal resolution compared to Top Spin 1...
Whatever, the grafics look better than any other TXR, that is enough for me....

^Why don't you?Just get a second hand one that ''supposedly'' wont read discs and by a dvd lens cleaner for a few bucks and your al sweet.Thats how i got my Ps2 for $100 when they were still $750 lol :D

No need -- both of my XBOX-owning friends now have 360s, and if neither of them get this game, I might just buy it myself. :sly:

Thx :). Well I think we'll get the in-car dash view. As you can see on the pics you can even see them from the outside and the last Genki racing game had a kind of semi dash view, so I'm quite optimistic...

Put an NSX in this game, have decent and good looking modifications, and you'll have me bought.
 
^Has me bought anyway, Just one small problem......I dont have a 360:( oh well that won't last much longer, I hope lol
 
4 min trailer !!!

- cockpit view ( with customization, gauges, seats, colors etc)
- extensive tuning possibilities, both performance and appearance
- new tracks in Tokyo including Shibuya and Shinjuku
- worldwide release very obvious ( don't know when though :nervous: )
- I ****ing love it :D
 
Looks awesome except for the cockpit view. I sure hope we get to see the wheel and guages actually move... :indiff:

Other than that I'm totally excited :D
 
If they don't, I'll never use it. No point really.

The customization seems decent, though you would think Genki would know that Lambo doors are scissor doors.

It's a rent for me.
 
The graphics look hella bad. I am a fan of this series though, so I'll give it a rental. From that video the graphics look PS2 quality, I really hope they're improved when it's released.
 
I like it. Although my only complaint is that they'd use more vibrant colours for the city. It's Japan!

they should put more traffic into the game
not just a white van ... semi trucks and taxi will be great
 
I am a little glad the other side of the road finally becomes active, and not something there for show.

But it'll take a lot for me to crown it king over it's previous title, TXR0.

TXR01 was the previous game, don't know if it was released outside Japan. That one is the best so far imo, it included Osaka and Nagoya aswell...
 
The mods look sweet. Too bad about the ''lambo'' doors and the neon stuff.
Atleast they didn't go in the NFS:U direction.

I guess I worded it wrong.:indiff:

But we only recieved TXR0 and TXR3 to my knowledge, and 0 was still the greatest one I had ever played.

TXR01 and TXR3 are the same. TXR01 = Japanese title and TXR3 was US title.
 
Why do so many people care about graphics? This is a great series and I just hope the latest version will be just as fun as its predecessors, 60fps or not.
