With only 1.8L of displacement, an IC that big is a waste. I can't even begin to imagine the pressure drop across that monster.
 
exactly, dont forget the car is producing alot of power (480whp for a little 1.8) which means a damn **** load of air flow. im not saying it needs to be that big, but in your other post it sounded like (to me anyway) you thought FMIC's where a waste of time

yeah, i think the size of the IC on that car has more to do with looks

This one looks stock, innocent, and does 10.6s runs.... how fun to drive around? :D

wow nicezzz :drool: one thing though! what does the number on the right of the tach mean cos it seems to go a bit mental when he accelerates (its not the revometer unless he has a digital and an analogue one as well :confused: ) and the number i think hits 100 and something so it surely cant be the speedometer! only thing i can think of is a digital boost gauge!?!?!

someone please clear this up for me! :D plzzzz

Speaking of the 4-door civic? (Owner's name is Francis ) if so, never seen it with other wheels, but in this case stock look is better IMO... I'd love to see the face of a brand new ferrari driver while I pass him with a 10 year old economy sedan :trouble:

That's on a drag strip with drag tires.

when did i said that was on a racetrack? even with slicks, a stock 360 wouldn't run a quarter mile in 10s, so I find it damn funny that a 4 doors civic, slicks or not, is able to beat Enzo or McLaren F1 times...

That said I'd rather own a ferrari than a souped-up ricer, would be more fun on a racetrack than just be able to floor it down on a straight line, but being able to kill an expensive exotic sports car in a old stock looking civic and have a look at the driver's face must be a lot of fun too...

and btw the R32 I've posted after that does it without slicks, and i'd love to take it on a racetrack...

You didn't have to say it was on a drag strip, the RETAINING WALL on the left side of the Civic tells me it's a drag strip.

And big deal, a shi* box family car with a ton of power and slicks can beat a Ferrari in the quater mile. Welcome to 20 years ago.

My point was, that civic is a helpless turd on the street. Even on the strip it's going to be a turd unless it has gumballs and a good driver. Keep reading Super Street jr. 👎

Anyway, I apologize for believing this is a cool car... yeah, you're absolutely right... no bodykit, no wing, no fancy colors, no black hood, not any scoops added, and no stickers... how insipid it is...
