hey, JDMB18C5. Welcome to the forum. Not sure if this needed a new thread, but How are you having a problem with keeping your rpm in peak range? Can you be more specific with your problem? Right now, all I can tell you is to ..umm.. downshift.

By the way, Here's some useful links for you to check out that may help you.

thats what i was gonna say. dont really totally understand what u mean but if u downshift, that'll raise ur rpms.

sounds like you have your assist on. Make sure you turn off at least your TC(traction control)

yeah its on but its on 1 cuzz if i put it on 0 the car will not drift haha

maybe cuzz i suck at drifting in gt4 hehe

0 makes the car not drift? That sounds completely backwards to me :) Just keep practicing with 0 TC, apply the right amount of throttle and countersteer. If you're a beginner try adding some understeer ASM. Once you get it down, turn all the assist off and do some real skilled drifting :)

Geeze. Make your writing legible before the mod sees it. Putting to 0 only makes you gain more control of the car.

It's not anything to do with the car that is wrong, it's mainly the fact that you only started.
If you watched Initial D (Which I'm assuming) Takumi did not become like that overnight. It took him FIVE years before he became like that. Remember that.

yeah i have some initial D and ok i will make it to 0 and go crazy!

I simply have no idea what you mean in that post.

but it seems like you've made up your mind and decide to continue practise, good, keep it up.

Try using a superclose mission. I think your problem maybe the gear are too far apart. Also, if you're using a turbo car, it could be turbo lag, buy NOS.

Hello JDMB18C5, You've been given excellent advise by some of the better drifters here. I suggest you apply it and come on back with a question if you're not able to find your answer with a search.

With that I bid you good luck and good day..
