does anybody recognize any of the tracks they are pretty good.....and by in game i mean everything (menu's, while racing, dealers, garage, etc.)
any help will be well taken:tup:

No, but I enjoy the Ron Burgundy flute solo during one of the "searching for players" screen.

Most are done by Daiki Kasho and performed by Dakota Star, the intro music is by them.

r u serious? i can't stand all that music, turned it all off, only car sounds.

totally agree...during racing only car/racing sounds..!!!nothing else...suround 5.1 system volume full open,f430 onboard and im in heaven!!!...:dunce:

Besides, you can't hear what the tires are "saying" with music blaring. Even if it were my own music, it would still be a distraction with these short and sometimes intense races.

right now i havent play the game. but everytime i play GT4 i turn my music off, and only have it set for replays :)

and so far on what i hear i like the music.

good to read that you speak the gt language...seeyou online!!
if the idiots leave the gt racers alone we can have these "intense"races every day:sly:

I quite like the relaxed menu music. It somehow makes it feel more classy as you browse the dealers looking for cars to buy. However I do have the race and replay music turned off, as I don't really like the rock tunes, having said that any music I find distracting when driving.

My copy of GT5 Prologue doesn't arrive till Friday/Saturday but I can say in advance that ANYTHING by Daiki Kasho is absolute GOLD! :D

racing with music.....when i'm racing something like GTR or rFactor (online), well it's strictly engine noises only, but i've always used music for Gran Turismo, though that might change when i'm racing online, as against AI, most of the time you're in a league of your own just driving away, so the music is a nice touch to relax and race to :P

The soundtrack is fantastic, outside of a few of the usual weird bits thrown in for odd eclectic tastes. The jazz and new agish tracks are very polished, sweet, grown up tunes that make this seem like the platinum edition game it's turning out to be.

Racing, you have to turn the music off to enjoy the sensation of being on the track. But during replays, I'm the other way around, turning the race sounds practically off so I can have a cinematic experience with the mostly hit soundtrack. And I have to agree with Daiki Kasho, pure gold. I just hope they do Say Goodbye with the original lyrics they had in the Summer E3 version.

Then there's Moon Over The Castle which simply has to be included. ;)

Well since some of you has gotten GT5 prologue already, and since this thread has been made, can I ask a question?

Is there a track playlist in prologue?
If so, is it in English or Japanese?
If its in English, can you guys post the tracklist here? :D I really like that one certain song inside the game, but don't know what artist it was......

There is no tracklist, the songs are credited in the manual in english, but there's no way to tell which is which.

The songs included in GT5P (with lyrics) are:
  1. Luca Ceccatelli - Get Away
    Jonathan Underdown - SURV1V3
Jonathan Underdown - Edge of the World
    Jonathan Underdown - Flow

nice downtempo soundtracks
they make me calm while waiting sometimes really long for online races

Was there ever any talk of havig your own music in the game? Such as playing music saved on your ps3 HDD. I think this would take the game to another level. I remember this was used back in Progect Gotham Racing 2 and the races would me so much more intense for me cause id have some killer driving music in the background.

I dont mean to be bothersome but could you or anyone else with the manual give me everyone the music is credited to please.

1. SURV1V3 (daiki kasho/ayesha cole)
2. ROAD STAR (Nittoku Inoue/-)
3. Back 2 U (MAKOTO/-)

6. Constructor's Blues (Mitsutoshi Sato/-)
