Is it locked to nascar? i dont have it open yet but if there are no restrictions i would go for the Toyota 88c-v. no brakes necessary and 500 miles at roughly 220 mph sustained speed would put you a little over 2 hours to complete

No limitations :)

Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89
Average Lap Time 39.8 (Race Softs)
Race distance Covered in 2.19.14.142
15 Laps Ahead at Finish
7 Pit Stops

XP 268176

225,.000cr

Xp and credits for winning please. It's probably not worth doing. The Grand Valley one isn't.

Speaking of NASCAR, I'm suprised there isn't a Daytona 500 endurance race.

I think PD missed the boat on Endurance Races.
Daytona 500?

What about the older endurance races?
Deep Forest Raceway
Special Stage Route
Trial Mountain....etc

Where are the fun races??? :indiff::indiff:

Its all good though, Im still loving GT5.👍

I finished the Indy 500 not too long ago. I used the Minolta with hard racing tires, maxed out downforce in the front and rear and maxed out top speed for the transmission. It's easy even though the opposition needed less pit stops than I did.

It's great for B-Spec if you're trying to level. Takes my driver a pathetic 2:39~ to finish with the Formula GT but 156k exp isn't bad at all.

Dream Car Indy - around 10,000 xp for 7 minutes.
90,000 xp per 63 minutes
180,000 xp per 126 minutes
270,000 per 189 minutes (3 hours and 9 minutes)
This does not include loading times

Indy 500 - 268,176 xp for roughly 2 1/2 hours

The numbers speak for themselves.

98000 for 3.5 minutes in a Ford GT Le Mans2 is the best and easiest way to get XP and credits for me. And since running around Indy is so dull, at least you can take a break and do something else like a trip around the 'ring or check the used car lot every few mins.

I've just completed the MX5 Endurance race. What an eye ache and for what? 165k xp for 4hours where 7 minutes could have got me 196k on the American thing in Extreme.

Credits: Good.
EXP: Not so much... It's quite terrible, actually.

Yeah 4500xp for 3.5 mins..................... it adds up you know :-) If you say it actually takes 5 minutes because you have to come out and go back into the race then each hour it earns you:

54,000 xp per hour and,
1,176,000 credits per hour.

I know which I'd rather be doing especially since you can keep going back to the grind and come away when you want for something more interesting. Each to their own of course :-)

Indy 500: I used the FGT to knock it out but any LMP car would be fine here. The Minolta is one you should have by the time you get there so if nothing else use that one it'll be fine.

The FGT is very strong but drinks fuel pitting about 37 laps running on vapors but tires are good to go will turn 39s every lap all the way up to pitting and if you do not already have the human stopwatch thophy it is very very easy to get with this car in this race.

My setup for Indy 500 using FGT:

Aerodynamic:40/55
Transmission: 420
Hard tires

Probably you'll be able to do around 38 sec or less per lap without drafting
