im just still playing to get my green aura, not long.. im guessing another 10-15 battles at max..

Green aura? What's that.....

green aura is the colour after blue aura.. in battling u get battle levels. There are 31 battle levels, the more u battle the higher ur battle level goes to.. currently im at lvl 20 which is the last blue aura and the biggest.. the next is green which is lvl 21.. im currently on 180 sumfin battles.. understand?

31?! I think that's only 30.......level 30 + 10 consecutive wins = rainbow aura

Anyone know any tips for riding down...Happogahara....?
I keep messing up on the 3rd section last turn, no matter how i turn.... I can beat the EK9 with ease all the way up to there, and i usually hit the rail/wall/understeer or slow down TOO much.
[It's the 90degree turn, then the U turn with the subaru sign.. this is in Special Stage by the way.]

are u talking about the manga mode.. maybe just practice in TIME ATTACK mode so u can get ur lines better.. and wif the rainbow aura im not too sure.. one or the other..

Done that one now Actually, i finished the thing right after that message It was just my matter of lining... i hadda pull in nearer to the wall (right side) then turn it with hard breaking and accel quick. Now i'm stuck at that EK9 with the professional racer looking guy... i can't finish those hairpin turns fast enough (they're REALLY similiar to the iro. course...) Need to practice i guess... but what the heck.. any tips

just take em in 3rd gear.. i remember i had a bit of trouble too playing that part as i suck in outbound, oB is the first one u race. After u beat him then u play inbound (iB).

Should i slow down my car first before i enter the turn or just shift down and let it go with gas off? (or accel?!)

What is outbound/inbound by the way? I don't know all these terms too much, i just simply play the game

inbound and outbound is basically going through the course from opposite ends....similar to uphill and downhill, but happo has a combination of both....so each direction cannot be defined as uphill or downhill

outbound, you start off with rapid left and rights.....and then you end off with softer turns near the end....the section with the tiny hairpins will be taken downhill

for inbound, the beginiing consists of a bunch of medium sized turns, allowing you to pick up a lot of speed.....the tiny hairpinned area will be taken uphill

Not sure about the screenshot site... but the game can be imported from Japan directly... or you'll have to modify your PS2 and play a copied version of it....

The game is mostly japanese, there's probably like maximum of 50 English words It costs around 70-80 bucks for a real copy of Initial D... but if you have a modified PS2, then it's around 20 bucks....(modding a ps2 costs around $100)...

I got my version for free actually since my friend owns the video game store But yeah, she sells for 20 bucks per DVD game and 10 bucks per VCD game... so i just said those prices...
