have you got aura on your car yet?
 
I think I'm at Level 12 or 13. It's a Blue type Aura, and it's pretty big. And this is on Version 3. And, I doubt an MR-2 could beat my Silvia. Only if we raced on Iro you would be able to probably beat me. I've raced a Million Point MR-2, and I beat it easily. The MR-2's top speed is what...141?

Anyway. I'm heading out to the arcade again today, taking about 25 dollars with me. I'll probably wind up getting to a million today. I guess my goal wasn't so hard after all. If I don't get it today, I have a 3 day weekend next week. And Sunday into Monday, my church rented out Game Works, a 3 Story monster arcade. Everything's free from 12 AM to 4 AM. And then on the 30th, there's something like that but at a smaller arcade. That's from 12 to 6 AM. And that's all unlimited. So things should be interesting if I go to both of those things and play as much as I usually do. Can you say...1,500,000 by the 30th?
 
its not a matter of the car.. it really comes down to the driver. If both drivers are similar skilled then it would come down to the car! See in v2 i could prob beat u wif an EG6 but now since v3 is quite different its much harder so usually cars that start off first get it easier off a bit as they're able to block easier unlike v2 which was much easier to pass..
 
We all know the MR-2's top speed blows, right? And my Silvia has the 2nd best Acceleration of the game. MR-2s ain't bad either, but I'll still beat him off the line. Anyway, if we're racing ANYWHERE but Irohazaka, I will beat him with my better acceleration and top speed. My top speed isn't the best, but I can get 203 on Myogi without slowing down at any turn. The MR-2 I raced couldn't take a long turn for his mother, so if it was the car causing that problem then I'd still win.

On another matter, I'm on Battle Level 13, Racer Level 9, 810,000, 63.3% wins. Can't remember the amount of races, but it was in the 130s. Raced a lot yesterday. This same guy with a KT RX-7 kept racing me. He had about 400K on it. He's good..He beat me twice of the 8 times. Tee hee. :D :D We had an accelent race on Akina Snow. His car isn't the best, and either is mine on that course. But we passed eachother 6 times each, when I came out as the winner at the last turn before the Finish. Tons of people were watching, and every pass you hear em' go " OHHHHHHHHH...OHHHHHHH! " and then I pass him, and they're like " OHHH..NO... " I think they're just jealous that I beat them every time I race them. One had a Trueno, a S14 2nd, and a GDB. There was tons of people there yesterday. I gained 30 battles easy.
 
yea well u cant do much on a map like myogi. Usually one that leads will win coz the game is based on too much on acceleration for battles. If u keep ur line tight then u can always block if the one behind catches up and ull wn.. im on lvl 15 150-160 battles.. 73% win. .quite sucky battle stats tho,i ll post up my battle pic later, a bit blurry tho :(

yep its me, ive got a sig pic of a couple of my auraed cars.. lvl 14 EG6 and green aura dc2.. theres only one set of v2 machines in my area, would be cool to take pics of em b4 transferring my cards over :)

Okay. October 30th would be way too easy for a million points. I'll probably get my 1 Million by Saturday, or Monday for sure.

On another note -- I've heard from a friend that they're making Initial D into an Actual MOVIE!!@1ONE!! It's being made as we speak, I think. Should be interesting, eh?
 
yea thats old news. search for it and you'll find it. Rollazn was the one that started the thread. theres like one pick of takumi. and its some singer. but search before you speak or else!! haha. the mods will get you.
 
yea i heard abt that a while back.. i reckn it will quite suck to base it on a real life movie.. id like to see the guttering scenes tho and feint drifiting
 
w00t. My car is at about 1,500,000+ now! Battle Level 14, Racer Level 10. I even beat a BNR34 2,000,000 Skyline at Usui and Shomaru, twice at Shomaru! I'm on fire, and the weekend is still young! BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, I have 3 plays until Inspection pays it's price, and well..My arcade is out of cards until who knows when. And from what I've heard, the arcade I'm going to on Sunday night doesn't have cards. Looks like I'm either going to have to use my RX-7 Spirit R or my Bunta WRX. We'll have to see...

1. I'm doing my Bunta Challenge stuff AFTER I beat the whole story mode.
2. I haven't used a cent of my own money for Initial D. My parents just drop me off there, give me THEIR money and let me go.

And I'm not complainin' :D

Beating the Skyline on Usui with your S15 is nothing to shout about. Not only do you win startup but the S15 is one of the course cars for the map.
 
Heh, I'd like to see your S15 on Happo, if you're done, pls post your time. :)
 
You're making it sound like the Skyline blows ass on that level! So what if I beat him off the line and out of most of the big turns. He's got a better top speed. And throughout most of the course, it's easy to keep that top speed.


My car isn't too bad on Tsuchisaka, or Happo. I'm pretty good on those courses with my S-15. Yeah, it's a little harder on Happoghara, but I enjoy using my car on those courses. My acceleration really helps on those turns.

BUT DARE I ASK THIS STUPID QUESTION? --

What would you rather have?

A. Acceleration
B. Top Speed
 
i would definately have acceleration.. i mean so what if u got top speed if u cant use it when ur getting blocked by a car in front by a car that's got fast acceleration..

the R34 is abt 2secs slower than the s15 on usui for both ways. On this map if both players are similar skilled the s15 driver should easily beat the r34, even if the r34 gets close the s15 can easily block and then pull away at the next hairpin..

wat are ur times on tsuchisaka and happo?
 
Haven't done TAs on those yet. I went to a 4 hour unlimited play at this arcade last night, and the Initial D machine was GHETTO! I couldn't even get into it. I wound up racing only like 9 times. It was sad, I couldn't even get into playing DDR at that place. The pads were loose and slippery. It was horrible.
 
I'm beginning to like my GC8V now, I'm having fun driving it now (especially in wet). The most distinguishable weakness of the car is on Shomaru and Iroh. (so far), I raced somebody w/ an RX-8 in Shomaru-OB-W, although I gave him a huge nervous I lost at the end. And when I tried Iroh., it sucks, its like a tortoise around the track, I've tried everything (for a A/T) to execute those hairpins, but with no use. I haven't touched Myogi, Usui, Akina-Snow, Happo, and most Uphill tracks with my GC8V.

-> Is the GC8V at its weakest on these tracks? I want to know.
 
iro is it's worst map for the 8v.. then shomaru. The 8v is a few fractions slower than the GDB on iro down. I get '06 wif my GDB(FT), wat do u pull for ur 8v?
 
I haven't TA'ed my 8V yet, right now, I'm still building my 8v, and the EK9. I've given up hopes on my DC2, It just doesn't cut it anymore. ):
