HEHE!! When I was in the Philippines like 5 weeks ago, my cousin took my sis and I to the arcade, and I saw Version 2 there, so I impedately got on it cause it was my first time. It was only like 23 Pesos, so like 50cents, compared to $1 at the aracde near my house. Im got a Trueno at first, but I didnt get a save card, and I beat my sis and cousin ounce each so I could have had the new engine. After that I got a save card, and got the Trueno, but this kid whose like 8 or 10 comes next to me and challenged me. I lost to him like 4 times in a row, but he was using an Evo 4 which has like 100 more hp than a Trueno right? For 3 times we were on Myogi becuase it was easy, and on the downhill, I would always be ahead, and when we started going uphill, he would always pass me. The last time I raced him, I was I think Akiga, because I was so hyped up that I mistook for Akina. On that race, I had him until all the back-to-back hairpins where he didnt hit the brakes at all and keep on raming me into the inside rail until I almost spun out and he passed me.Akina RacerI have always wanted to get this game but my PS2 is too old to be chipped. There was a switched off Initial D machine at a new bowling alley near my house. I turned it on and it had infinite credits! I sat there with my friend for about 4 hours until they manager kicked us out and switched off the machine. It was spitting out free save cards as well. I went back a while later and it was gone.![]()
I should get that. My cousin way doing to modify himself but its better if the warranty isnt void. Where would the slide card go, in the expansion bay?CAMAROBOY69You guys dont need to chip your ps2. Just buy the swap magic disks from modchipkits.com. They are about $20. And they dont void your warranty at all. Best part is you can play any Japanese, pal, or burnt games.
Here is the link http://www.customps2.com/site/pages/prods/ps2_swap.html
Thats it only $20 and your PS2 will be ready to play.

The slide card is basically nothing but a piece of plastic to slide the tray out. You can use anything to make it work. I used a butterknife for well over a year with no problems. The slide card pulls the tray out so that the PS2 doesnt realize its getting ejected. You will understand once you get the disks. I have seen 5 year old kids do it, its that easy.Driftnewb110I should get that. My cousin way doing to modify himself but its better if the warranty isnt void. Is it really worth it? For now Ill just use it so I can buy Kaido Battle 2 and play a burnt copy of NFSU2, but later by copying games that I like from friends, will it be worth my $24?CAMAROBOY69The slide card is basically nothing but a piece of plastic to slide the tray out. Of course it will be worth it. Thats a no brainer question. I have over 110 games all burnt that I play. I havent bought a PS2 game in well over a year now. And you could play Japanese GT4 demo, GT4 prologue, GTC 2002, GTC 2001 and anything else out there for only a little over $20. Yes its worth it.Driftnewb110Is it really worth it?
