Im watching Brazil and Ireland and Ireland are really giving Brazil a run for their money !!

Does anyone else watch the football much ??

Who fancies England to take the win over Portugal ??

The game wasn't that bad, Ledley King played well and he even managed to score a flukey goal. England did look the better team most of the time.

I don't know much about the US team, but they performed well in the World cup. They also have a good goalkeeper, Tim Howard.

Ireland made so many chances for themselves last night - its harsh they didnt come away with the win. Still you expect there to be goals a plenty when brazil (ronaldo carlos ronaldhinio) are playing,

and the England match - well ........ a fluke goal by King as race idiot mentioned and a very good free kick from Portugal to level the match off.

Free kicks annoy me sometimes because you can always pretty much predict the flight of the ball. Up and over the wall and dipping into the corner away from the goalie - so goalie get in the right position !!

Every time I see N.Ireland play I feel sorry for them, they suck so bad.

I was at the 4-0. The problem is, when Earnshaw plays against second-rate international teams , he plays very well. Then, when he's played against teams like Italy, there is too much pressure and hype and he just can't cut it.


Anyway, last hat-trick for Wales was Ian Rush (1992)
Last hat-trick against Scotland was John Toshack (1979)
