I think under 1.02 is possible, Cause i just did a time close to 1.02, and with a few tweaking and precise driving, its definitely achievable

After 20 laps in the Castrol my fastest was 1:04.384. I'm still quite off on the pace :(

Hehe I know. I'm just comparing to what bluesix got. When I went back to my original car, I actually went faster and did a 1:04.168. So much for me thinking it was at a disadvantage lol.

I'll leave it up to you Owens, do you want us to have both the same cars or you don't care if we're different? I personally don't mind anymore seeing as how my times are pretty close together.

Hi i'm quite new to the online racing as I thought i'd broaden my options of casual racing as well as drifting. I'd be happy to compete as an ameteure but if you think I wouldn't be right for this would you be able to recommend another racing league, cheers.

There's plenty of leagues out there, but I wouldn't recommend this league if you're only starting out ;).

I use this week to do as much testing as I can to help decide what I'll drive for the season :)

While I would love to pick this car, winning with it IMO is not a win. It should win. It's the fastest.

Biggest reason for considering a Lexus is to match my team mate. Arkano, would you be interested in the Denso car rather then the Toms? Same car different livery.
Just want to match my teammate.

Im sorry if i took it the wrong way but that sounds like sarcasm to me. I found that the Takata Dome NSX is the superior car on the fast circuits such as Monza and Daytona but the Nismo Z has great cornering ability. However with that the Lexus is a great handling car but doesnt match the speed of the others and this championship has picked up on that by allowing a stage 2 turbocharger
 
It has been tested by many top level GTP racers and it's proven fact the Nismo Z is faster then the other cars.


I brought it out twice. Once at Fuji F and recently at Rome. Both times out of the box with a tune similar to my Calsonic GT-R and it was over a second faster at Fuji and .7 faster at Rome. Rome was two laps both I had mistakes on. Give me some time to tweak it and it will be a second faster there too.

I respectfully say this. The racer using is on a DS3 and is not nearly as smooth as the other guys. However with all the mistakes the car still hangs with the fast guys.

Simple solution is tag 100kg. In which was my plan to test on Rome. Just got interrupted and did not finish that test.

Yep,I can confirm this:tup:the Nismo is about 1sec' faster than the Calsonic but in the other hand it has more tiers wear!

..What? I'm using an NSX :lol:. I might possibly change to a GT-R if when I get around to do some testing this week.

The Nismo (run in) was 0.2 slower than the Epson NSX (not run in) using identical set-ups but I think that's the track because the NSX's just felt more suited to Rome. I also found out why the Lexus' are allowed turbos :D

Looks like I'll probably be sticking to the NSX, I haven't got time to test this week at all :(.

Interesting, I went a whole second faster on Rome with the Yellowhat GT-R than I did with the Epson NSX. With the GT-R I got a 1:04.009 and with the Epson NSX the fastest I can get is a 1:05.3xx.
 
Using identical set ups on a MR and FR will not yield valid results. I used to race that Nismo Z. I know the car well. ;)

If you search here you will see other more seasoned racers confirm this as well.
