Early start tonight then?

This race is ridiculous, first I get taken out by phil, next I end up spinning out after touching the grass thinking there was plenty of track to the right of zzxxz while attempting to overtake him but yeah that one was my mistake. After that I spin again under braking at the second to last corner and then lap 30 while defending against eric I get rammed hard in the side causing me to spin and crash into the pit wall giving me heavy damage. It was just so frustrating I just parked in the gravel to take a break.

Probably good stuff for the video :) but still very frustrating. :(

Hopefully next week it won't be so bad but I'm not holding my breath.
 
Think this was your first win since F1 Kyaw so well done your always up there so you've deserved another win for ages.

Sorry Joey for almost spinning you but I think I might have just saved the spin I caused when I just tapped you on your left to straighten you up again.

Only thing that's a shame is I got spun round twice but no one waited for me....

I don't remember you nearly spinning me, you sure it wasn't someone else? I really don't remember lol.

Had an ok tyre wear but the setup was great, kept me very stable apart from the one time i spun weirdly at the dunlop corner [?] at the very begining. I lost my 1st position and had to work my way up all the way from the bottom.
 
When the race started everyone was already down the road so I should win lol.

My laps were faster with GP's slipstream^

GP slowed to let me catch up otherwise he would have won easily.

Good race, very close finish.
 
What an exciting race!

Changed my setup literally at the 27th minute of qualy, managed to do a quick 1.30.373 to get myself into 5th or 6th, I can't remember. Had a great start and was pretty much sat in the top 3 with GP & Phil until about lap 8 when my TV ninja-turned off, so I was last.

Managed to catch up to Erik after some time and took him at the beginning of sector 3, but he went off and span, that's one of the many replay investigations. Pitted a lap earlier than I was supposed to so that I could get the undercut on Erik, managed to end up right behind him after I was more than 6 seconds behind. Managed to catch Joey & GT next, passed Joey and he went off somewhere I think, caught GT again and I've got the feeling I caused his spin..

I was catching Maxi every lap and was right behind him going into the pits at the end of lap 27, we came out around 3-4 seconds apart, but I managed to catch Maxi. From about lap 30 onwards to the end of the race, Maxi managed to keep pace with me throughout the lap. I was pulling away all the time, but I just couldn't build a big enough gap before the uber long pit-straight.

On the last lap, I had it all planned out. I would let Maxi past and take him on the straight, but unfortunately for Maxi, he span at the penultimate corner :(

It seems I'm gunna be on the replay for at least an hour and a half now looking into incidents. Please tell me what lap you span so I can check it out.

Oh, and grats to Kyaw! It's about time!

Definitely investigate the start, that was just awful. And check what happened at the end of lap 30 between me and eric, I'd like to know who was at fault there. All I know was that I was defending against him giving him a bit of a squeeze but still leaving plenty of room then all of a sudden, BAM... and I'm spinning and crash into the pitwall. :(
 
Alot to say about this one. i did't expected to be end that high, still it could have been better.

My qualy time, enough to be 5th or something on the grid, was better then expected. My plan was to take the slipstream and follow the leaders. My start-time was perfect but Zzxz did't move on the grid i could't avoid him. so i lost the leaders. at the back it was crazy, driving trough the traffic was't easy. I made alot of little mistakes becaus i braked to late in a lot of turns. maybe i had't enough DF becaus of the slipstream. anyway on lap 3 i hit Eric in the first corner. Sorry i misjudged the slipstream. but i think you did't lost much time though?(it seems we can't drive together on one track :), we hit eachother every week)

in my first stint i was slightly faster, and the sipstream made me overtake some cars. but from lap 10 i was struggling on my tyres, i could't follow zzxzz & co anymore and i lost some places. but i don't know why but pitstops seems to be quicker and i came on the 5th place. at the end of stint 2 Arkano came behind we stayed together until the last corners of the race. he was slightly quicker but thx to the slipstream i could keep up. on the last lap i wanted to take arkano on the slipstream, but i toucht the grass on the exit of the first turn in sector 3. and i could't recover the car becaus of the tyres, i was just happy i stayed in front of Gtraceruk. Arkano deserves the 5th place anyway. I could end up higher if i could follow the pack but it could have been a lot worse too.

I knew you wanted to be behind me, so i deliberate slowed down more than once, it worked, you taked the lead. I was on the place were i wanted to be. But then i tought the grass, going wide. i actually never span. but it was close, becaus my tyres kept on spinning and did't find grip. so i lost alot of seconds. Lucky GTraceUk was't there to make his move.

Nah I'd used the undercut on the last round of pitstops to make sure I'd be clear of Erik so my tyres had given up by that stage.

I thought it was hilarious when we both slowed down going into turn 2. When you went wide at turn 4 I figured I'd take the risk and keep on ahead, I knew I had the advantage in sector 3 so I was hoping I could pull a big enough gap to get to the finish line ahead of you :p

yea indeed, it was hilarious, but i was starting to worry that GtracerUk would catch up. but lucky the gap was bigger then i thought.

I kept thinking GT was going to catch up while we were fighting for position, but thankfully we pulled away :p

Anyway, time to watch the replay.

To be fair, you squeezed Erik pretty badly there. I'm not quite so sure what happened after that. I think you & Erik both snapped back after that causing you to hit the wall.

To be honest, most of the incidents people are complaining about are racing incidents.

GP has a 29-point lead over me right now, I've gotta seriously pull something outta the bag for GVS & Nurburgring. Somewhat annoyingly, both are tracks GP excels at :scared:

Oh! And how do people feel about making the last race at the Nurburgring GP/F an endurance race (1hour 30minutes in total)? I figured since it's our last race of the season it would be a fitting end :)

I just recorded the video, after watching it just looked like an incident, there was still enough room for him though so it shouldn't have happened but it's just one of those things I guess.

I ended up missing the part where Maxi loses it a bit on the last lap because the leaders were crossing the finish line :( but still got plenty of decent footage. :)

Oh! And how do people feel about making the last race at the Nurburgring GP/F an endurance race (1hour 30minutes in total)? I figured since it's our last race of the season it would be a fitting end :)

Great race yesterday. Many battles. Beginning of the race was little mess. Got bummed few times :)
After Arkano's TV got his own life, i got away with Phil, lap 8-9 i think.
Saved some tyres in the first stint. When i saw phil struggling with his tyres, i pushed few laps and got 4-5 sec. Pitted lap 16 and 29.

Lap 38, phil, zz, kyaw battled it out for the win, i was just behind as a spectator.

Congratz to kyaw for his first victory! Finally

I don't like the Nurb, so 1hour will be enough :)
 
Well, i don't mind with the Nurb GP being an endurance race.

I would like to re-run Suzuka too. :P

Last night was insane, I had my 11 year old cousin talking me through
"you can catch phil and gp"
"phil maybe, but not gp"
He wasn't having any of it, he must have thought I was Vettel.
I wanted to kill kyaw after he hit me in the last few laps because I thought we would never catch up, but luckily we did, I did everything I wanted on the last lap but kyaw just got me.

Haha, i just lost concentration at that point and forgot that i was behind someone/had to brake... at least i waited for you!

Happy with my Grand Valley setup so far. Feels great and it's probably faster than average [?].
Got 1.44.3xx for today. Dunno what time to compare it to though.
