Little bit disappointed in the race from today. Did 1:29:9xx timetrial, best i did with the car, after hours setup today. Start of the race: brutally kicked out after being rammed on the back. I don't thing we assume to do this on this level.

Championship before cars were limited to 510hp now it was on 550hp; everybody was conform with the obliged rules.
I don't find it normal losing 8th in 1 sector for example, and Remy K with the lexus is a good driver, but not superlative.

I'm little bit sick of all the rules/limits/advantages/car battles

If peoples thing the supra is so great concerning the worthless prestation points in GT5,
who are based on hp, downforce and tyres, not -> tyrewear, gearbox, stiffness etc...
mine is for sale :)
 
I think the Supra is on par with the other cars myself. I used it's PP as a bench mark the one car that does stand above all.

I would be hard pressed to keep from using the Castrol Supra if it came available.

Let me know how it treats you. I was looking at it and planned to give it a go. Sone things are way different then my current set up. Which honestly I am still not 100% I like. This is reference to my Calsonic used in another league.

Look,in the first race(Suzuka)my Nissan Calsonic was really great!
This week I Made some practice session in my private room and I did easily 1'29.2,I was very satisfied with it,but today every thing had changed,I hardly got 1'30.2!however I will give a try: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=5139579

No no i don't drop out, love to play to much with you guys (for long time now), and you put to much time in organisation etc.

We just have to find out a better way to have the cars more even, i think.
If i could change car, i changed it already. My problem will be solved, but not for anybody else.
Putting the cars on same powerlimit could maybe help. The cars with 1150kg have little more handling and downforce possibilities, so putting all cars on 1150kg isn't also correct.

After 300kms and oil change they reach full power:
The supra's 524hp, nsx's 525hp and gt-r 525hp are quit even (metric)
Lexus 540hp. Lexus without turbo2 is too slow, so no option. Mid turbo has advantage on certain tracks.
The nismoz is the car with the most torque, advantage depends on the track.
Nsx's have advantage on small tracks, but big disadvantage on long tracks with fast corners.

If we stay on these rules a powerlimit of 520hp is an option.
Option2: Car limit 560hp-580hp and turbo's user defined
Option3: Free use of cars (multiple)

@wadji: off course all credits to Remy, he was the best today! I just mention this, because i tested all cars today. A race always has to be driven, but it's not fun, if another car takes every outcoming corner 4m distance due to more hp.

@Arkano: change me to Xanavi gtr and freeup supra 97 please, thnx

There's a 99.9% chance it will work with your Calsonic GT-Rs.👍 I know the Eneos SC430 tune transferred perfectly to the Tom's SC430 (they drove exactly the same except a little more grip available from the Tom's version which was wierd), and the tune for my GT-R transfers perfectly between the Xanavi and Stealth models, which have more differentiation than the Calsonic does to the Xanavi version. They're basically exactly the same car, so yes it will work.:)

Edit: NSX is updated now.

What does everyone think about allowing two of the same car in the championship? It'll give the people who can't drive the Lexus more of a fighting chance.

There is also the Nismo Z. I hate to say it. But that car is a ringer. No offense but that car in the top three today's hands would of destroyed the comp. I think it should be penalized ballast. Bring it's PP back to the Castrol Supra's which iirc is 617 full wings. Edit: appears adding 100kg puts this car at 617 from 623.

Usually I don't reference that PP. but I truly think this is a fair penalty for a car with such power on TQ and superb handling. It truthfully should blanche this car with the field.

hence me, a ds3 user, has the car. i think a wheel would be a bigger advantage than a slightly torque-ier car 💡

The Sc430 Lion's den tuning didn't feel stable. its too tall for driving round tight corners.. (no offence, Just feed back).

I tried it last night at the Pre-Season Fuji...
 
Check this race thread purple. They are offering you different car! I prob have it in my garage. Broke in and legal. You might need to add the chassis upgrade. For many leagues don't allow it. Only my car here has it. Which is Takata Dome and was Eneos.

I recommend the Motul Autec GTR or Any GTR. They drive well. The WoodOne stinks. IMO. The Toms Lexus is good too. I should test that one myself. I like it. Just got a bad taste of Lexus from that Eneos.

As well I think they may allow two of each car. I am having issues with myself wanting to use the Castrol Supra. Plan to test tonight and go with the car I am consistently faster with. As well watch tire wear.

I'm going to test a bunch of cars this week, think I might prefer a GT-R to the NSX :O.

I seem to be the only one sticking with their first choice hehe. What track are we racing at next? I should probably try a different car while the opportunity to change is still available =P

You interested in the Castrol Supra? If so beings we are teammates I would switch to it. Or if you don't mind an NSX we could run those. Or different cars. Hahaha
 
I run some laps in both the Supra and NSX and see how I do in each. Which is your preferred out of the 2? Castrol?

I am gonna say Castrol Supra. It just drives so well.

Honestly the Nismo Z. If it ain't restricted. I want you in it!!! Otherwise if they restrict it then Supra team.

Double cars are allowed.

Just to clarify again:

You are allowed to change cars up until the start of the Suzuka qualifying, the first race of the official season.

I think under 1.02 is possible, Cause i just did a time close to 1.02, and with a few tweaking and precise driving, its definitely achievable
 
Just wanna be sure, I'm allowed chassis reinforcement on the supra correct?

Hi i'm quite new to the online racing as I thought i'd broaden my options of casual racing as well as drifting. I'd be happy to compete as an ameteure but if you think I wouldn't be right for this would you be able to recommend another racing league, cheers.
