why did erik have to pay Anastasis 5€?

i bet with erik that i will end my race at last place for 5 euros but he didn't agreed lol

oh i thought it would be a bribe or something :dopey:

no way i wouldn't get last, i'm a sore loser....
:boggled: :boggled: :boggled: are you sure???? ohh what an honor :dopey: :dopey:

At one point i was a half lap ahead of you, becaus all my problems i had to chase you down 3 times for some reason you were always +-10/15 seconds infront of me. you had more or less the same speed. But i think i was better whit bad tyres. after +6laps old tyres i could close te gap more quickly.

i'm joining now, gotta fine tune it for sarte

Surprised to win at Suzuka.
This was my second day back to full health, qualified 2nd which was pretty good got a strong start to lead, then everything started to fall into place as I had strong pace throughout each stint. Did have a small hiccup with Immortal spinning me around but caught back up and had a good strategy. Surprised to win by over a minute to be honest.

When starting to practice for this track I found it killed my tyres. I did few things on my car to improve it. I could easly set up my car to go down to steady 1:53 laps, but tyre wear was just to hard and this race was a endurance race so it had to last. So I took a chance on more tyre friendly setup wich seemed to work out pretty good in the end.

Very happy with my second place on this one, fun to see that a full week of hard work on car and myself payed off :)

/me Shakes his champagne and releases the pressure into C-falcons face, Congratulation with the win mate

Was a good win for me but next week may be different.

i couldnt make it today for sarte, but did a litle lap with suzuka settings it was pretty ''ok'' but tomorow theres plenty of time to tune it for sarte,

We fixed your NAT type today ProPersian :) So next time you can just join with no problems :)

I wounder how you could play yesterday, with your NAT3

PD works in mysterious ways

race for me was god awful and was really kicking myself afterwards.

for a start my fastest laps in practise were 3 to 4 tenths quicker than the pole qually time we ended with but on the lap I was looking like getting that in qually I pushed 2 hard in the degnas and ended in gravel...

had reasonable start and then got the last corner on the s'es wrong on cold tryes and ran wide into gravel losing me like 3 places, made up some when maxi spun in degna 2 and then pulled away for a bit having a couple of minor offs trying to push too hard.

had a nightmare couple of laps on hards in the middle of my next stint and ended up losing about 30 odd seconds through gravel traps.

made a couple more horrible gravel trap runs in my last couple of stints including a big run wide into degna one and aspin into the spoon trap (couples with a few other minor offs and which meant I missed out on a good fight with arkano for 3rd. Probably would have been fighting with eric for 2nd if some of the other spins hadn't happened...

Suzuka really doesn't go well for me for some reason.

just cant ever seem to hook up the race the way I should be able to run it. Im always quick (swas doing sollid 1.54 flats for much of the race when I had new tyres) but cant stay on the bloody track.

anyway on to le sarthe, and a track I truely love. Gonna be interesting at night with no driving line and hard tyres though :o

lets see if GP can get to the end without running out of fuel like last time we raced on le sarthe :)

congrats to falcon for what looked like a pretty flawless race from where I was sat

Did a practice on La Sarthe today, I just cant see why so many people love it. Ok the last sector is cool, and maybe the first, but going straight just isn't fun.. But I actually be there since I sold my Infected Mushrooms concert tickets. Let's see who is fastest in a straight line (that sounded like a drag race)

The straight line bits are the most nerve racking! You've got all that time to think about and start worrying about the perfect brake and turn-in point for each chicane. Especially at the end of the Musalanne with that annoying gravel trap.

Everything after the Indy section is so much fun, hooking it all up in good succession.

I'm not quite sure on what to make of going wide on the entrance to the musalanne, last season we just let everyone go wide, and I'm thinking of doing the same again. But I'd like to know what everyone else thinks first.

stay in the confines of the track of course.

its there for a reason.

going wide is alsways good and saver.

yea was kinda weird for me too, but we fixed it thanks to you!, i tought it would be much harder to fix it, but it was quite simple!

Not really had any time to watch the replay today, so I'll update the OP tomorrow hopefully :)

i also say follow the track. but were is Musalanne? do you mean the first corner before the first straight begins.

Musalanne is the big straight, I'm talking about the corner that puts you onto the straight :)

The one with all the bumps (or 'sleeping policemen') on the left hand side of the curbs.

what was ;ast years pole time for le sarthe btw? gonna need a reference for how good my practise is going.

I got pole with a ....3:41? Or it was probably more along the lines of a 3:44.

Not really sure exactly.

Still no replay file uploaded? :(

You can have one from me :) if I get a video of Monza :P

Just kidding, I upload one soon.

Edit: You have the link in PM, have fun :)

3.41/44 ?? are u sure?

great test drives we had yesterday in ur lounge Erik.. i really enjoyed it!

I will open up the lounge again sometime this afternoon, now I have to run some b-spec remote races so my b-spec friends get happy. Making me have unlimited amount of cr is nice.. a week ago I had to buy a X2010 just so I could release some cr off my drivers :scared:

And it's a easy thing to do when you are at your workstation with my ps3 just behind me.

But yes, was fun. And I found another great setting for my car now, balance is just right and the car feels great. The GT-R will never be the fastest around La Sarthe since the NSX have like 6-7km/h more top speed and this track have so long straights it's embarrassing. But in the race it will be a lot more even because of the slipstream.

Warning for the new guys, La Sarthe was my first track in online racing in the last season and I almost ruined some of they guys races because I wasn't aware of the power of the slipstream and how this make you want to brake A LOT earlier than you first think.

yes i know, but i think handling the last part of sarte i think will be in gtr's advantage, but we'll see how it'll go.. i think the key to win is to have a good strategy & good setup thats all

lets see if a 2stop race is possible...

whens ur lounge going to be open erik?

Just ate dinner and watched a movie.. but now I'm going on to practice, see you on the tarmac :)
