Hello Everyone,

My name is leelee, and I had heard of GTPlanet however I just joined so I could answer a recent question about Gateway or Worldwide Tech Raceway after searching for the Road Course Version. I am from Illinois, near St. Louis, MO. I started out racing literally with JetMoto (lol) and had some really good battles even though a bit corny. I purchased a PC for XPlane Flight Simulator and since I had the money in the Pocket I purchased the Thrustmaster TMX for IRacing but I turned Assetto Corsa, I also have Fanatec ClubSport Pedals and OC Rift S. I currently Fix and Develop small rural airstrips independently for Submission to XPlane Flight Simulator (over 50 airstrips now) as well as creating custom scenery in my area. I utilize Assetto Corsa as well along with IRacing, Project Cars2, and sometimes American Trucker to enjoy cruising. I like to read and learn from answers and may have a few myself. I am also looking for others that race the RSS Formula NA 2020 and the VRC Formula NA 2021 on Assetto. These are my Liveries for the "The Ski Machine" a local soda created by G Wolf Design.

Hi there,
I'm new to GTPlanet forums, but I've visited the site many times in the past, I thought it was about time to become a member
I can't even remember when I found the site, it was many years ago though.
I'm from the UK and u started playing racing games back in the 80's on my ZX spectrum. I think my first hand would have been called something like leading lap, (not really sure what is was really called though) it was a formula 1 have that came bundled with the machine.
I don't use a steering wheel, in fact I still use digital controls, d pad for steering, x to accelerate, can't get used to using analogue controls on GT.
I like to play all sheets of other games, anything really, from borderlands, to red dead, to stupid little games on my mobile.
Anyhoo, nice to meet you guys. Look forward to chatting with some of you in the future.

I'm Olavo from Brazil, i know GTPlanet for a while, but never get registered,
today searching for G27 FFB mods (cuz i burned out my main borad haha) :banghead:

i found a thread speaking about, and feel that i must share what i've done with my G27 along the years.
now a days i'm starting with acetto corsa, also play Richard burns rally, GTR2, and S2 licenced (tha menas nothing) Live for speed.
hope i can share and learn knowledge about logitech wheel mods.

I found GT planet via searching for eracing leagues.
I'm from Michigan, USA.
I started playing racing games back when we rode our bikes to the local arcade to play games like Pole Position, Cruisin' and Spy Hunter.
I use a motion controller primarily, waiting on a frame for my yet unused thrustmaster T150 wheel.
Other games I enjoy are minecraft; still the best sandbox right? And adventure mmorpgs like GW2, ARK, New World, and still my all time fav the Soul Caliber franchise.
I'm looking forward to meeting other racers and having some fun while improving racing skills.

How did you find GTPlanet?... I was reading article gtplanet what I'm looking forward to going Gran Turismo 7...

Where are you from?... I'm from London but I live in Birmingham UK

When did you start playing racing games?.. it was when I started having my first console the from the Atari I must have been 15 of something.... Pole Position....

Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?... I haven't got a steering your because I haven't got the time the space for one so I do it on controller...

What other games do you enjoy?.. other games I like is... Uncharted, Horizon Dawn, Control, Rollcage, Grip, Monopoly, FIFA ....

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?... Talk to people about me racing games but not having swearing and stuff like that....

I started with a joystick but now I have Thrustmaster T150. My first racing game was Gran Turismo 4. I like other games like F1 2020 and SnowRunner. Hi I found gtplant while looking for Assetto corsa/gtr2 v8 supercar mods and tracks. Hoping to find surfers paradise, newcastle, the bend, and homebush. Glad to be a part of this awesome community on here. I am from Saint Paul MN. I race with and logitech driving force gt. I started playing racing games back in the days of the ps1. First game was Nascar 2000 by ea sports. In 2003 I got nr2003 which I played using a logitech joystick. I been doing paint schemes for nr2003 since 2010. I like to make custom schemes for assetto corsa mostly for v8 supercars.

I enjoy mainly assetto corsa, F1 2020 and assetto corsa Competizione

Hey y'all! I've been lurking here for a while, but for the fun of it I decided to register.

PlayStation user since the PS3 era, and you probably guessed it judging by the setting, I love racing games. It all started way early with ModNation Racers and the destructive beauty that is the original Burnout Paradise. It wasn't until 2017 that I started to appreciate racing games as a genre, playing some Need for Speed games, Driveclub, Gran Turismo Sport, The Crew 2, Assetto Corsa, and finally Project CARS 2.

Currently, I am scrambling around older racing titles (NFS Prostreet, Shift 2 Unleashed, Gran Turismo 5, 6 for example) that I didn't play in their prime simply because I wasn't super into racing games back when they came out.

I play with a pad as of current.

And that is all folks. Looking forward to talking here

I'm Swiss and therefore choosed "Clay Regazzoni" as username. Unfortunately I forgot the "i" at the end...and gotta stick with it for some time. I have a Simucube 2 sport, pedals, shifter and handbrake from BJ and 2 wheels from VPG Simlab: Elemento for open wheelers and a custom for rally and NASCAR. Rig is a modded Playseat which was welled and all structures reinforced with extra pieces plus hardest wood inside wherever there is a junction. I like: CM with AC (F1, RSS, Indy) -F1 18 to 20, WRC 9, dirt 2.0, R2F, RRE AFO. Thanks and stay healthy

As mentioned, as a new user you can actually change your username. Just head to your account details.

You probably didn't forget the "i" — usernames have a maximum of 13 characters, and that would have put you over the limit. For your new name, I would just suggest taking out the space, like "ClayRegazzoni". That will be 13 on the dot and you should be able to use it.

I'm new here so first things first, and let me introduce myself briefly.
My name is Jonas, I'm 30 years old (already?!). I work as an assembly operator in a Volvo Trucks plant.
My hobby's (besides gaming) are watching football and to a lesser extent I also make my own music / DJ'ing.

How did you find GTPlanet?

In a Google search when I was looking for tunes to use on my cars in Gran Turismo 6.

Where are you from?

The land of fries, waffles (no, not the blue ones

), chocolate and beer.

When did you start playing racing games?

My very first racing game was Ridge Racer Type 4 on the Playstation 1, followed by Moto Racer 2 and.... Crash Team Racing.

My first Gran Turismo game was Gran Turismo 2, at a friend's house. I guess I was 10 years old at that time.

Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?

Nope, just the standard controller.

What other games do you enjoy?

Games like Tomb Raider/Uncharted, Hitman, Call of Duty/Battlefield, Resident Evil.
I also enjoy interactive story-telling games with multiple endings depending on your choices, like Heavy Rain/Until Dawn was.
I also like co-op games like A Way Out/It Takes Two.

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?

Learning more about how to make tunes myself. How to be a better racer aswell.

Hello everyone from the gtplanet forum.

I'm Brazilian and I've been playing Gran Turismos on the PS1 since its launch.
I particularly like the Japanese versions better because of the soundtrack, as it was the first version I played of Gran Turismo.

I found the forum looking for the game's 98.2% glitch fix.
I was very happy that the patch fixes a lot of glitchs and releases content deleted from the final version of the game.
(In fact, I'm not able to apply the patch yet...) 😭

I can say that I am a racing game lover, especially from the PlayStation 1 era, but I usually play all kinds of game genres.

I am very happy to have found this community.
It reminded me of when forums were at their peak and also reminds me that I'm getting old. :lol:

I still participate in some other forums.

I have a lot to see and learn here, and I hope to help in some way if possible too.

Hello everyone.
Found this thread, and website in general after I've googled sth amongst the lines "Best street races in FH4 with share codes" as I am creator myself (started creating just recently which is Nov 2021) and was thinking about sharing my creations somewhere on the internet. This looks like a good place.
I've started playing games in 1992 if I remember correctly. I was 7yo back then. Racing games were always my favourite. 1st Gran Turismo, Colin McCrae Rally, Toca Race Touring Cars etc. Was always leaning towards wannabe racing sim instead of arcade experience. So far Forza Horizon 4 for me is the best racing open world game out there. Yes FH5 looks a bit better, might sound better, but there is almost no chance to race online. So I won't get on that hype train just yet.
After creating my first few tracks I have learned that placing checkpoints and picking the right starting point plus choosing which car can be picked is crutial.
Today later on I will share 3 of my latest creations.
1 of them is already doing pretty well in regards to likes, which was a big surprise for me. Yesterday after logging to the game I have received biggest reward so far for a single event which was 89 000 credits for sth around 100 likes and some other guys just participating. It is highway drag race with 50 chosen by me cars that have pretty similar stats when maxed - do between 420 to 440 km/h. No Moslers, no Jesko's no FXX Evo's.
I hope you guys gonna enjoy it. (If anyone will be bothered to check it out)

Hi all, just joined the website and this is my first time visiting too 😀

I found GTPlanet by hearing people mention it on YouTube.

I am from Derbyshire UK

So I starred playing racing games pretty much the same time as I started gaming full stop. With the first Gran Turismo on the Original Playstation.

I tried to use a steering wheel back in the late 90's and really didn't like it so I've always used the Dualshock instead.

I'm into most genres of games so pretty much everything really with my favourites being horror games.

I'm most looking forward to talking to like minded passionate gamers 🙂

Hi. I found out about gtplanet through watching Tidgneys videos. I’m from the Uk. I only discovered the world of sim racing when a friend showed me his sim rig and I tried it and was hooked 😂 I bought a second hand rig and GT Sport and still loving it! I now use a Logitech G923 wheel. I hope to find like minded people and maybe pick up some tips 👍
