Welcome to GTplanet dude! Have fun here and enjoy all the threads. Choose which ones you like the most.
Well thanks man... I have been HEAVILY "lurking" around GT4 section (To the point that Ijust.... JOINED man - Google takes me to this site EVERY - TIME... I search something (about GT4 or Turismo in general) - And I'm GLAD!

The vibes seem cool.
I used to MODERATE a couple (what are NOW) "old school boards" like this...

I've seen yer mods handle like... "Bad users"
(I am "Fake 'egotistical'." XD - I've seen you guys handle people that come on with their first post and say quote):

"I have found a GEAR RATIO FOR EVERY CAR AND EVERY TRACK - BOW TO MY BRILLIANCE!!!! NOW!!!!"

And... You guys "politley" "de-escalated that user's 'brilliance'... Ummm... In a GOOD WAY! (Didn't just BAN 'em - which - some..."Over-zealous Mods" COULD HAVE!

So good vibes! / Mad props.

I'm prolly gonna' swing by the "tuning section" (which I'm sure exists - hopefully for GT4 exclusively and HOPEFULLY that game's board ain't DEAD! - [ GT7 gets all the attention now ].)

I can't seem to win races against "Class C" cars... In my new Formula gran Turismo toy...
Because it's LACKING TOP SPEED.

Hopefully somebody's got some tuning advice... I can get it to a Max speed of about 223...
But then I'm sacrificing ACCELERAION in 7th gear - to the point that you can only hit that top speed in HIGH SPEED RING etc.

cheers~

Hello to all,
I’m from Austria live in German and I’m also new here:)

I played in former times GT5 with Fanatec Equipment .. In December I got GT7, and .. what surprise :P I had to buy new hardware for driving. Since than I drove aprox. 25.000 km, and still enjoy it.
I also enjoy crafting and am gradually upgrading my equipment.

This sort of question is better asked in the GT7 forum itself, but...

... to unlock the Blue Moon Bay location itself you'll need to complete GT Cafe Menu Book 13. There's only one FR Challenge race there, which is the American FR Challenge 550 that you'll access by starting GT Cafe Menu Book 14. That requires you to click "Start" on the Menu Book, which will reveal the gold compass icon in the top-left of your menu screen, over World Circuits, and over the three relevant courses and the specific races within.

We have a complete list of how to unlock things here:

And a complete prize car list here, which among other things shows the prizes for the races you unlock at each menu book:

Hi, I'm from Russia. I started playing racing simulators in 2000 (Gran Turismo 2). Now I play Gran turismo 7. I use the HORI steering wheel. I often visit the GTPlanet website to watch the weekly challenge discussion.

Hi everyone!
I'm David from Italy and I've been on GT7 for 1 year now.
I owned every Granturismo and I used to play Need for Speed as well.
No steering wheel for now, just a joypad!

Okay, I am a member of GTplanet for like half a year and I didn’t know that this tread even exists!
I found GTplanet by searching a new update for GT7 and I made an account here right after I read the article.
I am from Poland and I started playing racing games when I was 9 years old. Now I am thirteen (fourteen soon) and I finally bought a sim rig. Current setup is a G29 but I’m gonna be upgrading to an RS50 soon. I also enjoy rpg and
adventure games. I mostly play Zelda and Undertale. I mostly post on scape collection

I found GTPlanet while searching for Grand Theft Auto 3 Records (specifically Criminal Rating 😎)
I am from Sheboygan, WI, USA
When did you start playing racing games? I started playing racing games in the early 2000's (Dirt to Daytona)
I don't usually play with a steering wheel.
I enjoy GTA (played I, II, III, Vice City and V)
I'm most looking forward to connecting with other GTA players and sharing my GTA III stats.

Hi, thank you for this nice welcome thread. I love racing games. Specialy GT7 on my PS5 Slim. Recently I bought the PSVR2 and enjoy to admire my favorite cars in Virtual Reality. I miss so badly the 1990 Lotus Esprit Turbo V8 in GT7.

Welcome to the club mate. How are you doing?

Hi, I’m from Brazil and am 51 years old. Started playing racing games on PC in the early 90’s, but never took it too seriously. At some point in my life decided to purchase a Logitech Wheel and participated in some online races, but then… for those married… you know what happens (“You don’t have time for me, seems like a kid playing video games!!”). Anyway, was also working a lot, so decided to just quit. But now I have a 12 year-old boy and with his PS5 I’ve recently decided to buy GT7 and found out that the dual sensors have gyroscopes, so I gave it a try and, guess what, I’m still fast. Then, I but him a PSRV2 (actually, I gave ME one) and now am addicted to it and looking forward to race online again.
