Just joined up, thanks. Also, I just posted over in Gran Turismo 7 forum about my new rearview mirror and side mirrors added to my rig, using simhub, ps remote play and old devices

Thanks again

Welcome mate, enjoy your stay here and happy 2026!

Hi all, I got GT7 and a G29 with pedals for Christmas and loving it so far!

Torque = 10
Sensitivity = 1

ABS = Standard
TC = Off
Everything else = Off

Favourite car = M3 Evolution II = Stage 3 body weight reduction, Sports brakes, Sports suspension

Greetings,

I am known as HIBISCUS in GT7 and have been racing for less than a year. I’ve had great experiences with the online community, but have quickly reached my limit in general lobbies. My appetite for a challenge is great, my work ethic even greater. My goal is to make meaningful connections that will help me continue to grow as a racer.

I race mostly open wheelers, with the F3500A being my main preference. I’m also a rain enthusiast. While I am still a controller user, I hope I can find others who can appreciate a no assists lobby (no abs, no tcs) with realistic pit stops and compound changes. I’m big into F1. Regrettably, I’ve received so many complaints and vitriol about my preferences to race in what I deem as the ultimate challenge. I’ve been told the car is undriveable, whilst I and drivers greater than I, seem to handle the challenge with relative “ease”. I’ve worked hard to develop my skillset and my great hope is to find a league or group that can appreciate this challenge.

Thank you for reading and hope to make great acquaintances!

P.s. I’m recognizable by my custom blood red John Player Special livery, the Senna Special.

I have been playing GT since 2010.
I'm from the US.
I basically only play GT7.
I use a Thrustmaster T150 wheel (need to be replaced with something newer)!

I got o this form to see if anyone else is having the same issue that I am having.
I will get into the issue on the GT7 daily race forum.
I can set a time and when the race starts I am the only one moving. I assume I show up as a ghost car to the other drivers.

Welcome to GTPlanet mate, happy day 15 of 2026. You doing good?

It’s crazy that I got zero acknowledgment since Saturday and they post today and get a response immediately. Typical loser ****.

I am thanks!

I got a Bronze in the Lexus weekly challenge, no success with the Zonda though...

I'm slowly getting a feel for trail braking but the G29 pedals aren't the best - I'm already eying off the Truebrake mode which will be a third of the price of a new set of Logitech RS Pedals and race adapter.

On top of that, I want to get an NLR Racing Stand Lite 2.0 so I have a proper base for future racing :)

PS. Can I jump straight in with competitive racing (lowest level) or would you suggest getting further licences before embarking?

Well I'm sorry, but I didn't see your post until now. That's why. You mean no one else greeted you on Saturday?

I found GT Planet via YouTube. I’ll be 63 in a couple of months. I live in 🇨🇦 and I retired about a year ago. A few months back, I bought a secondhand rig with a G29 wheel, pedals, and ButtKickers. I added a PS5 Pro and PSVR2 strictly to use GT7. Years ago, I raced the Papyrus IndyCar and NASCAR games on my Mac.

I love racing in VR! My lap times are consistently better, and the immersive experience is phenomenal. I have completed the standard menu books and am now working through all the circuit experience challenges. I haven’t attempted to race online yet and don’t currently have a PS+ subscription. I expect to get into racing online in the coming months.

Welcome to the site, Willy. Enjoy your weekend and continue to have fun racing in VR.

Hi. My name is SnOwCoNe_III Or you can call me snow if you want.
I found out about GTPlanet mostly from another site called the Cutting Room Floor wiki, which at that time I was looking cut content from Forza Horizon 5 and saw multiple sources came from here and I thought 'Hey why don't I join in and chat with them). Though I was a bit unsure until well... Right now.

I'm from the U.S. Not much else I want to add to that, (I am a bit shy telling people stuff like that)
I've been playing racing games since I was a kid. So in short, my entire life up to now. With recent being FH5 and I plan on getting FH6.

I don't play with a steering wheel sadly.
I play a variety of games, with or without my friends.
As for what I look forward to doing in the community is hang out and chat with you all.

:p

I have been reading here for a long time and with the launch of the FH6, I have decided to register to talk about the video games of one of my passions: cars.

I like to take pictures, so I will be in the photography area of the games quite often.

As a Spaniard, you can't miss one of the best cars made here. The Cupra Formentor VZ5.

Hello everybody,
I was aware of this site yet never thought of joining. I live in Germany and have been playing racing games for over 30 years.
I play with a Fanatec GT DD Pro and only have so much time that I pretty much don't play anything other than GT7.
I am looking for help in creating a special decal and want to post a request in the thread for it and hope that some of the Pros there can help me out.

Welcome!

I haven’t set up a custom livery myself yet, I’m still fairly new to GT7, but I am a retired graphic designer and could likely help you out with artwork for a decal if you wish.

Hello Bill!
Thank you so much for offering your help, but maybe I should`ve been more specific... the thing is that I was trying to create a .svg file of a special gold color that I painted my car in. I think that the GT7 editor is unnecessarily complicated and I ended up with a design where certain parts of the car would not be painted. My own attemps of creating a matching gold color as a decal weren't that successful so I thought of asking for help here. But then I had an idea and thought that I could find a matching color by figuering out the RGB/HSV values of the paint. The result is not 100% but I think it is the best I can expect, some angles its good - other angles not as good but I think its ok. But see for yourself:

Greetings and thank you for having me here. I go by OlegLocke in GT7, although my psn name is VikeBike. Been playing it for about 3 weeks since getting a cockpit and G29 wheel/pedals, so I'm a bit late to the show i guess. It's been since around 2006 since I did any online sim racing, but it's like riding a bike, right? Used to race Nascar Racing 2003 and Grand Prix Legends back in the day. Oofda, I'm showing my age lol.

Anyway, perhaps looking for a GT7 league to join, or other for-fun race nights online. See you on the track!

Thanks,

Oleg

Welcome to all our newcomers from this past week, we're expecting 3-4 inches of snow and ice. I hope we do not lose power at all during this winter storm.

Welcome to a special thread just for new members! :D

This is the best place to make your first post and get comfortable using the site. Here are a few questions we like to ask everyone...
  • How did you find GTPlanet?
  • Where are you from?
  • When did you start playing racing games?
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
  • What other games do you enjoy?
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
As always, let us know if you need any help finding your way around the site or using your account. Welcome to GTPlanet!

:gtpflag:
1.) Google searching for GT7 tuning sheets.

2.) England

3.) Racing games have been a constant genre in my life, PS1, PS2, PSP, GBA, Wii, Xbox 360, PS4.

4.) I use a controller as wheels are too expensive for me. Plus with how my setup is, I have no room for a racing wheel rig.

5.) Persona 5 Royal, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, WipEout, Super Smash Bros.

6.) Hopefully seeing some tuning sheets for the Nurburgring

Welcome man, did you see Jordan's thread about GTPlanet's 25th anniversary milestone?

Reminds me of the good ol days of driving with a clan that would do daily no assists lobbies on TOCA 3. Voice chat + close racing + random peeps filling up the spaces was perfect.

Welcome to the site mate, enjoy your time here.

Hello! I have been playing since 1997. I had a Logitech force feedback wheel with PS2 and A-spec just mounted to a desk. I would like to build a sim but haven't. I am on the PS4 with Controller for now. I just got GT7 in November and I love it but some of the challenges seem impossible. I haven't taken the time to learn to tune my own cars but I may work on that over time. I just completed the last menu (X2019 races). I play on difficult with no assists except that I recently turned on ABS.

What do you all think about ABS braking versus easing on and finding the threshold braking point?

Adam

Hi!

My name is Andreas and I'm new here at GTP and I'll try too introduce myself:

  • How did you find GTPlanet?
I can't tell anymore, because I'm a quiet reader for years already, but I never registered. Now I changed that.
  • Where are you from?
I'm from the south of Germany, Bavaria exactly.
  • When did you start playing racing games?
That was in 1996 on PC. My first racing game was "Al Unser Jr. Arcade Racing" that I played a lot at that time, because I had nothing else. Soon after that I got "NASCAR Racing" (the first one) what introduced me to more serious simulations and also "Grand Prix 2". Shortly after "ToCa 2" followed and also "Grand Prix Legends", all the further Papyrus "NASCAR Racing" games from part 3 until NR2003, also all "Colin McRae Rally" and "Rally Trophy" an a lot more.

The first years of my gaming carreer I was a PC-only gamer. My first GT was GT4, because I never had a PSX and I also bought my PS2 very late, the PS3 was already announced at that time. With GT4 I had lots of fun and because of that I bought the PS3 when GT5 Prologue came out. GT5 was bought at the release day and I raced it a lot, more than GT4. I skipped GT6 and Sport, because GT6 was not a big enough step from GT5 for me and the multiplayer focus of Sport also wasn't much appealing to me. I rather played the Forzas during this period (Motorsport). GT7 then appeared to me as a solid Gran Turismo again and till present day, it's the GT I played the most from all GT parts I owned. It was also the reason for purchasing PSVR2 and at the moment I can't play GT7 without VR anymore.
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
I play with wheel only. I got my first steering wheel in 1998 (primarily for GP Legends), prior I used the keyboard, but that's not really a great controller for racing games. At the moment I use a Fanatec GT DD Pro (8 Nm) combined with CSL Elite Pedals. That is enough for me, I'm not planning a uprade like DD Extreme or something else.
  • What other games do you enjoy?
I play a lot of other games, also arcade racers, FPS, RTS or business simulations like "Transport Fever". I'm not so into RPGs and mainly a single player gamer, also in GT7.
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
Since GT7 became one of the most played games of all time for me, I though it would be good to meet some people with the same interests and share some experiences with them.

Greetings,

Andreas
