For the last few days everytime I boot up the app the news does not show up, is any one else having this problem or anyway to fix?

Hmm. I just had a look and was able to load the News section of the page without issue. I'm not sure what the problem could be for you - have you tried refreshing the News page using the circular arrow button?

From experience I can say that the news page takes A LOT of time to load sometimes, I've always thought of it as lag from poor reception. It seems to load faster over wifi, but then again, slower than the forums.
