Just don't race for a few hours and you'll keep your license for a bit :)

You can't loose D license, for the rest you loose it when you are bellow 2.00 at the end of the season. Keep in mind that the regular season is 12 weeks long + week 13, the rookie season is just 4 weeks long and only affects the Rookie classed drivers. In other words the only promotions taking place tomorrow will be "Rookie Promotions".

I'm just working on getting my safety rating back up, I'm at 2.34 on the road and was at 3.34 when I started this morning.. It just hasn't gone my way today.. That spin in the SRF and that dropping below a whole number thing cost me (and I'm still bitter about it). I was rather proud of my safety rating, it complimented my Irating nicely.

Ive been doing the opposite lately, my SR has gone up slightly but IR has gone way down because you cant afford one slip up or you're doomed in the 1st split. Ive been trying to keep it at a good level, but i always seem to drop into the 2's no matter what. I was at 3.7 something and almost ready for promotion to C, a month later im still trying to get promoted. I just dont know the cars/courses well enough to stay clean but im getting there.

On a positive note, had a fantastic race in the Mustang tonight, came 2nd. :) Close battle for the lead and I started to fall off pace with 3 laps to go.. also raced against Matt Plumb in the Miatas, he races in Grand Am for those who don't know. We were both caught up in separate incidents though.. How long does it take for my referral credit email to come in?

Zolder is seriously amazing. Running it on max settings (everything except virtual mirror) locked at 84fps with 2x SuperSample AA and 4x AF and it looks absolutely beautiful.

The track is great, but that's not what I'm so impressed by.

The level of detail and the graphics in general of this track are absolutely amazing. If iRacing keeps up this level of quality with future content (and updates current content to be somewhere near this level) I'll be a member as long as iRacing exists.

I'm a bit confused though as to why some people are complaining about the lighting. I think it gives it a much more "true to life" feel and I finally feel like I'm in a real environment, not this magical perfect land we race in on most tracks.

Oh and for next season, that track needs to be on EVERY SINGLE SCHEDULE. It's amazing.

Is there anyway to find out the schedule of Future series? Like for example the Skippy next season?

I am ready to buy all the content, but, I don't want to have a load of tracks for a car that doesn't race them.. Also, what other car should I buy?

Agree 100% with superbike. Real life has a gritty look, not polished and shiny like most racing games (not saying its a bad thing for those games)

Matty, they release a PDF schedule a couple weeks before each series ends on the announcements part on the home page where they show the new build release notes., I think it's usually about 3 weeks before the end

For season 3 they got the community involved with a pole to see wich tracks everyone wanted in the schedule for each individual series, so I guess they'll do the same for S4.

Well I went and bought it anyway, any suggestions which car I should buy with it? :dopey:

Depends on your next move. If you wanna get to C license I'd buy whatever track is going to be used this week by the Grand Touring Cup and use the MX5 to get up to C license, then decide wich series you want to run and wich car you want to run.

Well, I will probably run the Skippy through C and D, presuming the tracks don't change too much..

Also, I wants a car not track, enough tracks for now

Should probably have bought some Oval stuff, maybe buy a Nationwide car and race loads a crtain week when its at Charlotte/Oxford/Boston etc.

Then when in C buy the street stocks tracks :dopey:

Oh don't have Barber, but have all the rest :D

Lol! A little longer than that, more like 23 hours 49 minutes from now...

Only seen this now, thought it was like a normal track change...

Well, I guess I was wrong about expecting a good SOF race in the Mustang at 6:15 (last race of the week). Second place (and even first place) nets me fewer points than the 9th or whatever in my other race on Sunday.

Awesome last 3-4 laps racing Danny though. I made one mistake losing over a second in a turn, he caught up to about 1.5 seconds behind me. He had been over 3 seconds and slowly closing. Then on the front straight I missed an upshift, giving him his chance to get by. I nearly got him back. I'll post up a video soon.

Wow! Having a blast on Zolder in the MX5 Cup Car!! What an awesome car/track combo! Those chicanes are a blast! Looking forward to some awesome hosted racing there!

Now I'm tempted.. :p

If you want an awesome drive, go for it! Right now is not in any schedule, so any racing is gonna be hosted racing wich is pretty awesome but if you're going for any particular champiopnship you might wanna save it for another track.

Any tips on the Legends car? I just can't seem to figure out how to properly drive it..

That's an easy one! Start from pits, pass all the wreckers on lap 2 while they're still on pits trying to understand what's happening, finish top 5, win SR and iR every single time! :p

I meant to actually be competitive, it looks like it could be fun..

Don't use a lot of brake. If you can stay on the lower part of track with no brake or very little then your doing it right. What are the lap times you are getting.

Got some more computer parts in today and im about half way done with my build. Wanted to see if anyone wants/needs an SLI bridge because my mobo came with one but im not going to be using it. Its still in the static bag unopened if someone wants it, just let me know.

I really dislike the legends car, mainly because i suck with it. Im so used to driving cars with some amount of oversteer to help you turn a corner but theres no room for that in the legends car. Once you get a little loose you just snap hook in the opposite direction and ka-pow!

Every SLI motherboard and every SLI compatible video card comes with an SLI bridge, so you probably won't find anybody suddenly needing one.

Running the Mustang again this week?
