Hey, at least you don’t have to think about getting your road licenses to a similar iRating! There’s a 2k difference between my Formula and SportsCar licenses. 😆

There is an overwhelming amount of choice. PCC is great though, this week has been my first back in the series in about a year and a half and I kind of forgot about the intense lap long side-by-side battles you get with these slower cars.

The new FIA Cross Car looks like a lot of fun, as far as dirt content goes. Unfortunately, I’m not game enough to drive it with a GT wheel.
I was curious how they would handle that, think I was around 2100iR on road, class B I believe, may have been A. They've basically divided it up so I'm D in both Sports and Formula with 1395iR in each.

Had my first race online today since rejoining, GR86 Cup, had a great time. A good reminded of why iRacing is so popular, close, clean online racing.

Normally. I just had my first two intentional wrecking incidents, neither were provoked and one was in a higher class car! And of course I forgot to save the replay to report them. The Strength of Field was quite low, so I'm chalking it up to newbies who will probably ditch the game before the new year.

btw I was leading by a significant margin before the first incident. :(

It's a new season but it doesn't look like anything has really changed in terms of GT3 balance. FR cars (The Mustang in particular) are still the best. I think I'll switch to GTP whenever they fix the tires, hopefully within the next few weeks.

this sums up pretty much every medium/high strength of field lobby in imsa or any gt3 series, doesn't matter if it's open or fixed setup.
