I got a quick question for you guys. What kind of headset do you guys run with iRacing?

I use Steelseries Siberia V2's. Fantastic headset, and I can use it across all 3 of my platforms.

I use Turtle beach Px 21. Good on Pc & Ps3. Also, since it is not blue tooth my Buttkickers work no problem. In some cases headphones with dongle/bluetooth will disable Buttkickers.

I just don't understand with all these different discount programs running at different times of the year how anyone can still think iRacing is that expensive.

WoW players pay what $15 a month? Plus a $60 expansion pack every 18 months? Why are we complaining here? We pay less than they do in the long run.

Get creative with it. Enjoy free content until they come up with the credits deal and buy $100 in credit for $60. Then spend that $100 on content and get 20% additional off on what you already saved $40 on. Then just play the game and you end up with $45 a year bonus that pays the subscription fee. It's cheap if you are a SMART CONSUMER.


My point in all this? They are already practically giving stuff away if you are smart about it.

Haven't seen anything lately on the DW12.

I heard somewhere in the iRacing Forums by a member of staff that the Premier IndyCar Season may be cancelled again due to the DW12 getting closer and that they are hoping to release a new IndyCar this year.

I also heard that they may not release it as the DW12, they might tweak and change a few things before its release to make it DW13 Spec, so it might be the DW13 instead of the DW12.

With all the new and reworked things iRacing are and have worked on since the original Dallara's release, I have a feeling it will be much better from a handling and visual perspective. Just look at the McLaren.

iRacing also needs a reworked/new Formula 1 car. I say this because the current real life Formula 1 cars have new tyres (Pirelli instead of Bridgestone). They also aren't allowed to refuel now, and there are new restrictions to the chassis. And it also needs its handling completely updating, one minute it can be fine, the next it can be super twitchy and then it can be fine again.

And to finish I am so tempted to get this Steel Series SRW-S1. It fits nice and easily on to the G27.

Just entered a Cadillac race with SOF of around 1.5k. This particular race was so bad, all the rookies were crashing around, some were merely in it just to crash into others! Im guessing if the free membership offered by Cadillac is attracting all these crashers.. Now not even sure if protesting against them is useful.

It used to be worse, although I rarely enter Caddy races anymore..

Same, but I think Laguna just brings out the crazies and makes it all worse. For some reason drivers just don't seem to think they need to brake for turn 1 after the start, instead using other cars to slow them down by slamming into them. Really frustrating. All of my races to forget come from the Caddy series 👎

One or the other, so 3 races will fulfil your MPR, or you could do 4 TT's and your MPR can also be fulfilled that way.
