I think it's all car Roush.

Doesn't change the view too much either, just puts you down so little you'll barely notice.

Had a fun race at Spa a few hours ago and Shinya won and I took third.

2 GTP drivers on the podium :D

Although Shinya started from pits and still finished 1m20 ahead of me. :grumpy:

Interlagos yesterday was a huge wreck fest.... hopefully and i doubt this but hopefully there wont be a big pile up

I bought the Late Model, the Kia, and Watkins Glen just now. Driving the Late Model around Watkins Glen was so much fun. Way more grip than I thought it would have.

The Kia, not so much, though. Think I'll stick to the MX-5 or the Solstice for whatever I do on the Road side in Season 2.

Is the kia any good?

I personally find it huge fun, driven it round Laguna seca and Oulton park so far and it's just great. It's very powerful and FWD so there's bags of understeer if driven over aggressively, and some snap lift off oversteer if you aren't careful on downshifts and engine braking. But it's easy to get the hang of once you remember to drive it differently to all the RWD cars on the service. Definitely running this in the official series.

Seems to be very track dependant so far. Some tracks it feels very tail happy in other it just won't seem to want to turn in at all. Going to be one where the base setup will need a lot of work to get the car feeling fun. Certainly a nice change from all the RWD stuff though.

reckon its going to be more popular than the grand-am? or gt challenge?

Didn't know you were in the race but, congrats on the podium! Realistically, should have finished second. The guy running in 2nd for most of the race was megga fast. 1.5 seconds faster than me. Which is not what I'm used to in race trim.

They're all that way so, either start from the pits, expect to dodge a lot of crashes and have a 3 minute first lap, let it rip and you may get a huge lead in your class lol. It's a fun race after all. Have Fun! 👍

Drove the KIA for just a little bit last night. So far I'm liking it. The baseline setup is absolute garbage though but I guess that can be expected. After you tune on it a little bit you can get most all of the lift off over steer out of it. Only tested some at Laguna so maybe tonight might try some other tracks and work on getting the setup better with what few adjustments you can make.

I made a pretty decent setup for the Kia if anyone wants it, I tested it on Oulton Park and was much more consistent in my lap times. It's not perfect but it's a start I guess..

Looking forward to some hot Kia action tonight down under.

Last night reminded me how boring Motegi is.

I'm hoping to make the 9:15 eastern race tonight. Whose in? :)

Got home early today so I'll definitely jump in!!
Gotta put together a decent skin for it now...

Cool! Hopping in the 8:15 race with two laps of testing. We'll see how this turns out. :)

See you at 9:15!

Edit: Well...that didn't go well. Caddy dive bombers got me. :(

so at spa, i now get 80 frames solid all around the track (i have a limiter on) but when i go to a night race.... all fps is lost. such a shame i swear. it wasnt like this before the update. i could race IRL on night tracks and run solid 80 fps in races. so wierd.

^I think I was in the same practice session with you in the vette earlier today...I sucked bad :guilty:

I've been having a blast with the legend at Laguna Seca and Interlagos and before the update the craftsman truck at Laguna Seca :D

Edit: Camping World Truck

Is it just me or do the cars understeer more under braking and even under throttle too, do you have to let the cars just roll through center more now?

Some of them practice sessions with Vettes are lethal lol. The races are even worse. I had a race yesterday where half the field crashed at Eau Rouge.

Edit: needing a setup for the Vette at Laguna. Looked on the forums, downloaded a setup but the file is a .rpy file, as opposed to a .sto file which usually works for me. Is there a way to convert it to a .sto?

i was ranked 2nd for a while. drive a white red and vette :) i dont think it is you. the vette has alot more "rolling through the center". this is what has changed my love for this car. it just clicks for me now everywhere.

The Caddy is now my face car. So awesome.

Had a to of the Kia today, such a fun car to drive and in my opinion it has the best ffb of any front wheel drive car in any game I've tried.

Is the Caddy any different after the new build? I might need to try it out again.. Interesting inRacing News articles, this one pretty much states how far along Long Beach is..

It feels different. The usual load of power but grip us now there and you can slide around if you want. Just handles really nice.

I'll have to give the caddy another try then, I hated that car. It had no rear grip
