Hmmm... What would be the requirements for that league? Hopefully I'll have my new pedals by then and I'll be able to actually modulate the brake instead of the on/off switch I'm using!

Pretty much what my brake feels like. I've been trying to use only my big toe on my left foot it's working a little bit better but it gets sore after awhile haha :D.

Yeah! But you're from another planet!!
Lol!!
Man this pieces of crap!! I had to run and pulled them apart yesterday before the GTPFIA race, after doing the same just 2 weeks ago!! Plus that freaking pedal is stock so the minimum you can initially do is 60-75% brake!! That's why I lock up so much!

Well.. Scandinavian would be the first box to check here :)

If you are using a clubsport pedal then you might want to consider checking the linearity. That made the biggest difference to me!

Nah! Using the standard POS's!
Would loke to get some nice Clubsports if anyone is looking to sell!

muuuuuuch better felling, much more control while braking. 👍

the big one is just an adapter. you will connect the pedals directly with the PC, thats the point.
this way you have a higher input/signal. it works really great.

sorry, can´t explain better with my english, but i´m sure, google will help. ;)

I do believe he is referring to resolution. Basically the higher this the more steps the pedal has through it's motion. Which gives better throttle control.

Jav
Note taken!

For real!! Didn't realize you were there!!
Cool!
Are you doing the Spa enduro?

I still gotta work on my concentration. I tend to make silly mistakes 20 laps in. Couldnt imagine being in a longer race than 25 laps atm

Pre-ordered! Can't wait for the Acura and the Ford GT! Plus Suzuka will be fantastic laser scanned. Iowa... just bought it to get my 25% off.

August can't come fast enough!

Oh my god, what bull:censored: :(.
I start my first race for the last 5 days or so, and then my parents decide to come home right as we all grid. 'Kyle, can you come out here". "Can you put the dishes in the dishwasher." I went out, quit the race, to be told that, biggest silent rage ever. That's so annoying.

oh my gosh, these crazy devs made me Class D! :dopey:

Wasn't expecting to get promoted with a 3.57 Rookie rating... I guess I can start racing myself a Mustang now??? So weird I thought I was gonna be a rookie for a few months at least. I really just started playing hardcore this past 2 weeks or so 👍

You rank up if you have done the required number of races (4?) and are above 3.0 by the end of the racing month.

Very nice mad! Can't wait to get in there with yah ;) Might be a while.....:p

Have you gotten the C6.R yet? If not you need to buy it!! I absolutely love that beast!! The sound is just amazinly intoxicating!!

btw, have you guys activated Fmod?
Don't know if i've told you guys about it?

Either way, it's a must. Exhaust crackle and stuff like that will be more noticed and the vette crackles really nicely on the overrun :)

Mind sharing a video of what thats like?

I tried FMod and not happy with how it sounds yet. I noticed bad dead spots in the V8 where it crackled (not a car noise, sounded like lack of detail). And also as the revs decreased and it got low in RPM the engine noise died completely.

The sound quality is better, but there is a lot of refining to do. So I won't run it yet.

Can't remember how I turned it on, you have to do it in one of your config files. Maybe do a search on the iRacing forums.

Ok havent driven the V8 without it but try the Radical and Vette. Those have awsome sound.

im at work but just search for activate fmod for iracing on google Jav.
basically it's not really Fmod. it's just some sound fiddling and in alpha stage sort of. better sound will come this build.

Jav, listen to the sound now and then with Fmod, tell me what you think :)
Go through gears, lift off at high and low speeds etc.

Hey everyone. The Flyin' Miata Super Cup,
Here:

and here:
http://fmsc.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/5086200-expansion-to-other-sims-are-we-game-?page=last

The mega-popular Spec Miata GT5 racing league officially sponsored by Flyin' Miata MX-5 tuning specialist, here: http://www.flyinmiata.com/, is expanding into iRacing and we need all of the iRacers in GTP to help us build it up best!

So if you would like to show interest, support, suggest, or help lead the effort than you're more than welcome to sign up on the FMSC site and chime in on the "expansion" thread on the site forums here: http://fmsc.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/5086200-expansion-to-other-sims-are-we-game-?page=last.

We're still going to be going strong in GT5 with a third season of FMSC starting soon, feel free to join that if you're keen as well.

So get to it! This is still in the very early stages so we don't have a race structure, racing times or anything else quite lined up yet so if you wanna see something or think anything's wrong then say the word and we'll all work together to make it great.
We're hoping to get listed on iRacing's league micro-site very soon as well as post up an invite on the iRacing forums once we get it closer to the start too.

Feel free to PM me if you need to as well.
Thanks

Random Note: Grant you, I only purchased iRacing about 3 months back. And at ALMOST every track, the racing is as real as it gets. But damn, how can you have 2 cars hooked up and NOT be able to pass a lone car in a stretch? Really? I realize they are improving the drafting at Superspeedways in a month or so. BUT, you would figure being a simulation, this would be a 1 2 3 type deal........

This goes for any(Cup, IMPB, Silverado) at Dega or Tona. Unreal how the hi lane goes nowhere........ Again, other than that, speedway racing is insane!!!!! And I just purchased Watkins Glen. Love that place with Nascar Car/Truck.

Trust me, it does'nt get any easier in real life.

For those of you with a Fanatec wheel and pedals. Anybody have a problem where whatever you do the pedals are never set up right? I've had this for the past two days and I can't play because of it. I have the latest driver. I'm completely confused.

nope, what is the problem exactly? is there an issue with the range? you can use dxtweak2 to make sure the range of the pedals is okay.
