Thanks Hamp! I'm so much more excited for the Acura now!

Edit: I'm working on a Mock Up design on the Acura. I'm that much of a Le Mans geek that i'm gonna take the time to do that lol

With no refference, I'm just wondering how will you know where each part goes.

No, like i'm taking the exterior photo and drawing the lines and colors and what not using illustrator. Nobody (public) has the .psd yet for it

I'm definitely going with a Marlboro livery on mine! Don't care how sacrilegeous it may be!
Anyone here care to point me to a good tutorial on creating skins?

Also had a run in the Miata in a random hosted session in Sebring at night and ran into Richard Towler and Bryan Heitkotter.

Fabulous right? :)

Bryan's probably trying to get some practice in before he flies back to the UK to start the real thing. ;)

nVidia Cup has been incredibly dirty today, at least in the races I have been put in. People taking eachother out left right and center including myself a number of times.

Payday can't come soon enough, gotta start racing the Skippy's asap!

Skippy at Lime Rock?? :nervous:

Mmm... I'm not sure if should do it. The best i've done in quali was 1:00,3. This is almost 3-4 sec slower than the fisrt, and everybody i guess. I also killed my irating today so i'll stay away from Limerock. fair advice !

Limerock I find is much easier to race clean and keep the SR up. The lack of tight corners makes it easy to avoid spinning, infact, just the fact that downshifting into 2nd isnt needed is what makes it easy for me. I wish I knew how to heel toe, that would avoid my 2nd gear spin outs and frustration on Okayama for sure :/.

You are talking about the mustand right? cause you dont need to heel-toe with the skip barber, just blip the throttle, well this is what i do.

About the heel-toe, it took me about a week to feel comfortable with it, and I still make mistakes but defenatly worth it. You should take some time and learn it. Also some guys use the auto-clutch and are faster than me, but i dont care, I wont change anything.

Want a tutorial on how to heel toe? I have to do it everytime i'm in a (real) Skippy, since i've run a ton of lapping sessions getting ready for next year in Japan racing some Formula Renaults :D

the key is to hit the gas first then let the clutch out. I had times where I messed up and had to think about how I just spun. I wasn't giving it enough gas before I let the clutch out.

Just uploaded some Nationwide paint schemes here. Will be uploading a 6th one once I find the font for one sponsor

Could anyone that has the Daytona Prototype or the Cup car put those schemes in their game and get some pictures?

Hm, it's a lot easier and faster to left foot brake in the Skip. Map the clutch to a button on your wheel and be off.

I wonder if he's been on lately doing that. The time I was talking about in Sebring was a couple months back, before GT Academy was even in the final stages. I actually just knew of him from him being in the iRacing World Championships and Podium Assault. Didn't realize till the GTA finals in Orlando that he was Cudaman, blew my mind.

Do tell me what real life car has a button designated for the clutch... other than an F1 car which is a paddle. All you learn there is how to... well nothing important really.

Actually he just posted an update in our Facebook group today and he's already back on the other side of the pond starting his training. So yeah, not sure when he was on last. Probably won't be on again for a while. :dopey:

Wow! Daytona races are hectic. Just did a B Class race then and we were running 3 wide consistently in the last 15 laps. There was a few huge accidents but I drove from 28th to 8th. Good solid drive for me! :D

Highly recommend to anyone to do at least one of these races, they are just awesome fun. 👍

Yea I want to race the NASCAR's but I wish I didn't have to get my oval license up so high! Haha.
