whooHOOO!!! Had a blast man!!!! I finished 6th out of 18!!! Yeeeeaaaaaah 👍

I learned something here: think of a strategy pit before the start, it took me about 3 laps to figure how much gas i should add, instead of focusing on the race... and i lost around 10sec in the pits for nothing cause too much gas added, grrr

But Jav, that was awesome. I LOVED Daytona lol

EDIT: with only 5 incident lol

Yea since you don´t actually do pitstops yet there´s no need to change fuel during race but to answer your question. No you can not change fuel if you are in Rookie class.

I think it´s up in C class you will first encounter pit stops like Grand Am for example.
And even there it´s not all races you do pit for fuel or tires.

Just read on the forum DoF is only available in replays but man you will be able to do some cool stuff in videos very easily now! :D

Yeah haha. I'm going to take my setup over or maybe buy a new one since i'm going to be living both in the US and in Japan. Like half and half.

Yeah, iRacing has a livery editor on their members site although it is quite limited. However, you must choose a preset livery then you paint it whatever colours you like then finish it off with one of iRacing's sponsors.

Or you can download the vehicle templates and skin your own car in photoshop which is what most people did in that video. 👍
 
Yeah downloading the skin and doing up your own is easily the best way, tho some people would abuse it the majority would come up with some pretty cool and personal designs. Gotta get me started in iRacing thats for sure.

Great video, better choice of music now aswell for the people who absolutely hate metal ;)

EDIT: Depth of Field, Aperture and setting focus on cameras will also be possible in replays now ;) Great news for us who create videos!

Awsome racing Mad! I finally bought the V8 and started learning Mosport last night, I'm in love with that car!! All I need now is a good setup for that track!

If you run the ride height low in the car to get lower centre of gravity sometimes if you hit a kerb it fires you randomly into the air. A bit of a bug with the V8.... Does definitely need to be fixed, moral to the story, run the car that low if you want but run the consequences (if you do run it low keep off the kerbs that you know cause trouble, you will hit a glitch eventually in practice).

problem with the V8 series is only, till today there was only 1 (one!) official race. :indiff:

Yeah. Australians treat it like a league race you could say. You do races Sunday Night Aussie time or Monday Night Aussie time. Any other day you will not see a race go official. But I think the euros do a SOF race on thursday?

Anyway, just won the Radical World Tour event. Was a toughly fought race, Elias Varis got away to an early lead I chased and the gap was about 1-1.5 seconds. I could see he was starting to make mistakes pushing that hard and eventually he put it into the wall. After that I backed off the pace and cruised home to the win. :D
